The hotel is a great location for the beach & marina. The room & pool area are spotlessly clean , there were Sunloungers available at all times of the day. The only problem we had was the bar did not take cash we started a tab which we paid in full the day before we came home. When we checked out we were asked to pay again, we explained we paid the previous day but the receptionist said the bill was still outstanding and we had to pay again. In hindsight we should have asked for a receipt the first time we paid but we were not offered one, luckily the tab was not big

If you want to switch off and relax it’s the place for you. In a perfect location for the beach and marina, travelled with jet2 so no option for a pool or sea view unless you pay extra in resort but to be honest you aren’t missing anything as it’s a quiet hotel. In a perfect location for the beach and marina, travelled with jet2 so no option for a pool or sea view unless you pay extra in resort but to be honest you aren’t missing anything as it’s a quiet hotel. Rooms are as described and cleaned regularly with good air con. Was self catering but tried the breakfast which was pricey but lots of choices and probably better to book before you go, lots of choices for meals out around the marina .Would I go again? Definitely it was lovely

Me and my daughter spent a week here after her final college exam this year (June 2024). We really loved it. We wanted a beach holiday (not had one in ages) which is why we chose Carema Beach. There's a glass gate at the end of the very clean and lovely pool area separating the hotel from the beach. Perfect for us. Loungers on the beach at 18 euros each for a day so were did one day on them and for the rest we stayed around the hotel pool and went through the gate onto the beach into the water when we fancied a swim or to jump the waves. Sometimes, there's a border of seaweed between the sand and entrance to the water but it's like small wet pieces of paper, very soft - not like UK seaweed. There's always a gap with no seaweed to wade into the water. It didn't both us. We booked direct with the hotel online rather than with a tour operator. A fair few other guests did the same. The breakfast and evening meal eating area looks classy and has beautiful views of the beach, sea and the cove. It's spacious and well run. We sat on the covered deck outside. There were lots of staff on hand to clear plates and lay tables etc. They wear a smart casual uniform (white Carema Beach tops with trendy navy blue trousers) which does give a very smart feel to the hotel. Before I went I read reviews which were critical of the buffet breakfast. I've no idea what they are talking about. It was really good! We deliberately ate loads to save some money and skip lunch. We booked bed and breakfast in advance. There are cooked options on the hot plate as well as freshly made waffles, pancakes, eggs etc by a chef. Each day I had fresh fruit followed by yoghurt which I added a variety of nuts and seeds to, then a pastry and a small piece of cake or a quarter baguette with bacon. Lots of cereals/granola too. There is every kind of bread and milk you can imagine, including gluten free options for my daughter. if you want a 'picnic' takeaway breakfast, order it at reception the night before. We ate out 5 nights at the marina just around the corner and cooked our own food in the kitchenette area for the other two nights. We asked for a sea view and got one, the balcony was large (we stored our 2 suitcases there) there's a rack to dry swimming costumes though ours is getting old. The kitchenette area is decent. Pans, plates, cups, cutlery, glasses, bottle opener. They leave you a pack with a couple of cloths and two little bottles of washing up liquid. There is a very relaxed vibe to the place. Because we went before the school holidays, there were a lot of families with young children and older couples not tied to the school year. Everyone was lovely though. The kids were very cute and well behaved. A good mix of UK and European guests. Cala N Bosch is a compact resort but for a week long stay, we were really happy to stay on the beach 5 days, do a boat trip one day and visit the stunning city of Ciutadella on our last day. The bus stop is across the road from the hotel at the supermarket. 2.5 Euros one way. Younger kids travel free. We walked to another small beach around the corner and enjoyed looking at all the villas en route. It has a fab restaurant/bar right next to it. The bed was comfy, good air con and towels are freshly supplied each day (they don't wash your dishes). My only criticism, and this is minor, is that grouting around the shower needs replacing because it looks grubby. The fridge is older and maybe the doors to the cupboards could be updated. I recommend this hotel and would stay again. The hotel and resort area has a very upmarket feel without the same bonkers prices you'd pay for the French/Italian Riviera. Loved it.

we travelled as 3 women and were in one room we didnt realise one bed would be a sofa bed which was small and not very comfy we were put in a ground floor room which was very dark and no view at all at the back and the shower was very dirty we went straight back to reception who just said thats the room your holiday agents booked and see your rep she did say we could have an extra room for 1300.00 euros or upgrade to a pool view room for 25.00 per day although on the information sheet it said 15.00 euros per day she said thats for may not june we took the new room but felt that she expected us to come back and want to change rooms the new room was exactly the same with sofa bed but at least it was a better view and light so we would not be coming back as very disappointed with attitude we got. there were no entertainment at all and no lounge area to sit on a night just a pool bar the good points were the food was lovely and the restaurant staff were really lovely and the position to the beach was good we flew with Jet2 and it would be interesting to know if all jet2 travellers were booked into the worst rooms in the hotel we looked round other hotels in the area and there are a lot better hotels we thought it was more 3 star than 4 star and we paid quite a lot of money which was definitely not worth it.
