Great Stay – will return Small hotel, 40 rooms and adults only. Directly on the beach, (which is cleaned every morning) you can have a partial Seaview room or a direct Seaview room, we were direct 502, spectacular views and sunsets, with a small furnished balcony. The pictures on the web site of the rooms and common areas, I would say are pretty accurate. Room a good size, with a ‘beach’ vibe, nice Bathroom with plenty of space for toiletries, good shower. Breakfast was pretty good with cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, bacon, eggs, cold meats and cheese, selection of fresh bread, and freshly squeezed orange juice. You get 2 complimentary bottles of water in your room which you can fill up daily from the filter machine in the breakfast room. Nice, cold, fridge in the room which is a bonus, kettle and coffee machine, ours was not working but did not detract in any way. Breakfast self-service, coffee and tea from a machine that was actually pretty good. For a 3 Star hotel I would say it is excellent. Nice walks, you can walk to Cala Blanca where there are more restaurants and bars or in the other direction Sala Caleta, lovely little Cove with bar and toilet facilities. Parking was easy, the weather was excellent mid-September. We hired a car, and it took us 40 minutes from the airport. All the staff (Toni) extremely helpful with ideas for restaurants and Ciutadella, we did not drive into Ciutadella a taxi was 7 Euro each way – bargain. Prices in general were cheaper than at home, but that I think would depend on where you live, we are London based. Had a really lovely relaxing break, with plenty to do in the evenings very close by. We did not rate the Chiringita/Beach bar below the hotel, service not great, food not to our liking and the drinks were awful. Restaurant Bahia excellent and great views and service same for Sa Nacra, both a 2 minute walk from hotel. I would highly recommend the hotel and surrounding area 10/10

Absolutely perfect location right on the beach of the awesome cove with its ducks and beautiful clear water. Our fourth floor room was relatively basic but had everything we needed other than a coffee machine. Breakfast was entirely fine with the balcony overlooking the cove, a particularly appealing place to eat. There's a lovely little seldom used pool on the second floor, which deserves a mention as well.

This hotel is fantastic! My father has reduced mobility and therefore my parents requested a room with facilities for the disabled. The room was large, bright and airy with a well equipped wet room. There was also easy access to the pool, large sun terrace with sublime views and restaurants. But more importantly the staff were kind, attentive and patient. My parents were well looked after meaning that they, and we, had a fantastic holiday. Thank you all at Playa Santandria from Pat and Brenda xx

“Don’t go with high expectations”
Restaurant very average I’m afraid. We visited all the restaurants in Cala Santandria and this one came out last. Don’t expect a front row table though, they’ll all be reserved all the time.
