“Great location ”

Basic self catering apartments. Very close to the beach (5 minutes walk). Plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarket close by. Apartment has everything you need but no toaster or hairdryer. No hot water at beginning of the week but this was quickly rectified. Check-in a bit confusing as it’s located in a different property about 200 meters away. Would stay here again.

“Great long weekend ”

Stayed here as a group of 6 friend for a long weekend. We wanted something cheap and cheerful and this place was perfect. We were actually pleasantly surprised about how nice it was. Stayed here as a group of 6 friend for a long weekend. We wanted something cheap and cheerful and this place was perfect. We were actually pleasantly surprised about how nice it was. Very relaxing, rooms and pool area were clean and as it was low season we had the pool to ourselves. It’s a short walk to a lovely beach in one direction and bars and restaurants in the other direction.

Basic self catering apartments and overall the apartment was clean and everything worked but really outdated and in serious need of freshening up especially the bathroom. However, for 5 days in July we did not receive a laundry change-over particularly for bed sheets and towels. In 30+ degree heat I thought this was extremely disappointing. There was no kettle but we didn't bother about that as we could not be bothered going back again to reception after the debaucle of check-in. Very confusing as it’s located in a different property about 200 meters away which took a few hours wandering the streets. We called reception and eventually a cleaner opened up the apartment and tried to give us directions to reception. Anyway we did get sorted eventually. There was no fan in the living space and a combo ceiling fan with light in the bedroom so you could not make use of the fan during the night as the light stayed on. The area is lovely, with restaurants and supermarkets close by and a nice waterfront to catch the sunset. Along the road they did have a pool and sunbeds which was absolutely great as the beach is very small - (5 minutes walk). Would give this a miss next time I decide to holiday here.

Booked apartment Playa Blanca in Cala Blanca Menorca got dropped off on the main road & was pointed in the direction to go down a side road the apartments weren't down this road after asking at other hotels we were pointed in the right direction. Booked apartment Playa Blanca in Cala Blanca Menorca got dropped off on the main road & was pointed in the direction to go down a side road the apartments weren't down this road after asking at other hotels we were pointed in the right direction. The reception was a 10min walk away at another hotel not across the road as said in other reviews. We were taken back to our apartment by car a hour&half after being dropped off they were called Mar blanca. They didn't have the facilities mentioned in the overview a bar 2pools playarea games room these details have now been removed also the photos aren't all of the apartments! The wardrobe has a musty smell, you can hear next door while in the bathroom, the beds are bit rickerty. Good point we had the pool to ourselves. Wouldn't book with Onthebeach again.
