I'm going to review honestly based on my experience. I always research as much as possible before booking. I booked and paid for a sea view room. Prior to arrival I contacted the hotel and requested a higher up room and a double bed, if at all possible. They responded acknowledging but advised nothing could be guaranteed. We arrived just after midnight, check in was perfect and we were allocated a room on the 5th floor. The room itself was quite dated but traditional Spanish decor and furniture. The beds had been set up together. The beds are of a good size and comfort to my liking both the mattress and pillow. Kitchen area is very basic and you'd struggle to fully self cater with 2 rings and a toaster, not an issue for us as we did not intend to cook. There was hand soap and body soap in the bathroom, great when you are travelling light. My only issue in the bathroom was a shower curtain that you had to battle with when showering. There was always hot water whatever time of day/night. On waking and looking out the view was lovely, more than I expected and what I like to see when I am having a tea in the morning or vino in the evening. Beds changed every 5 days and towels every 3 which I find acceptable. Our cleaner was lovely, always happy and friendly. Never an issue getting a sunbed although it got very busy on the weekend , I think some local families were turning up just to use the pool. Pool bar good value, drinks and food good and staff always happy to help. Yes there were groups of young people, sometimes they were loud as any large group of people would be, regardless of age, but were they respectful - yes! The location itself is great, 10 minute coastal walk to the beach, 2 minutes from the square. All in all we had a great stay and would return

I have just returned from a 3 night stay with my 2 sisters. After reading the reviews we were worried but here is my honest review. On arrival we had a smooth check in with pleasant reception staff. We were allocated room 404. On entering the room it was spotless, yes the furniture is dated but everything was clean. Now to the view. OMG it was spectacular. We headed down to the pool and were able to get beds even though it was late afternoon. The pool was clean. Other reviews mentioned groups of lads. Yes there was groups of young lads but they were no trouble. No swearing, no being disrespectful, no being noisy in fact just young lads having a good time. It was actually fun to watch them. The pool bar had nice drinks and cocktails, only downside was the paper cups. If you eat and drink in the bar area you get glasses and plastic glasses, however for round the pool its paper. We purchased 3 plastic cups from the supermarket and used these. I was told on the first day that there is a mad 8am dash for sunbeds, however this isn't true. They do not open the pool doors until 8am and when they do there was only 2 people waiting. There was lots of sunbeds still available at 9.30. No issues whatsoever. Breakfast was ok. Continental was lovely especially the pate. Bacon and sausage were typical Spanish. Shower in the room was very powerful. Aircon was great. I slept on the bed settee (I'm not a slim lady) and can honestly say I had a couple of great nights sleep. So comfortable as were the pillows. Be careful on the balcony as the patio doors lock shut. We had to be rescued by reception, however this added to our fun memories. All staff lovely and pleasant. Nice path at the side of the pool area that takes you to the main beaches and has bars along the way. Can definitely recommend Harrys bar. Worth a visit to Port Adriano which is about 10 euros in a taxi. All in all a great stay.
