“Every bit amazing”
Such an amazing hotel and theme. The shows were amazing the staff are lovely the location was top notch there is no bad things other than in the room I stepped on a pin. But highly recommended. P.s. they would not let the kids out on their own which is great.

We have been to Pirates Village 3 times now and are booked again for May and Oct 2025. Had 2 trips 4 weeks apart this year, end of Sept and end of Oct for Halloween. We always book a terrace apartment and request a particular side of the hotel…..they always do their best to accommodate this. The hotel itself is fantastic, the decor is amazing and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. We always go selfcatering as this suits us best. Santa Ponsa has so many great bars and restaurants that we like to explore every day. The Eroski supermarket next door is super handy for stocking up on essentials. The pools are other facilities are brilliant, some of the best we have had. The Pirate entertainment is off the scale, so unbelievably good. You wouldn’t get it anywhere else. The rooms are basic, clean but basic. We always book direct with the hotel so don’t pay the crazy prices some tour operators charge. If I paid thousands to go, I would be disappointed at the rooms, but for the price we pay, they are more than acceptable. We are a family of 5, our oldest has SEN and is technically classed as an adult, Pirates is one of the few hotels that do a room for 3 adults and 2 children so really suits us. Cannot wait to May 2025. Ps Halloween is AMAZING there

We booked the pirate village for 3 nights over the Halloween break and I have to say this was by far the best halloween expeiance for us as a family. Firstly, I would like to thank the pirate village for accomadating us following our flight getting cancelled from Belfast on the Saturday night. When we eventually arrived on the Monday the the pirate's vilage who were aware of the situation kindly extended our stay until the Thursday, meaning my 6yr old got to join in on the Halloween party which she thouroughly enjoyed. I'm not a fan of all-inclusive hotels following bad experiance's elsewhere, but the food and beverages here was of excellent quality. Secondly, the entertainment at night was absouloutly amazing, the best I have seen. Thanks again Pirate village we'll see you next year. The Begley family, Belfast, Ireland.

Travelled in October with my partner and daughter. Stayed as all inclusive. I would rate this hotel as a three star for a few reasons: - Room not ready on arrival, had to wait hours which was not ideal with a small child that had been awake since 2am. They have a luggage room but people constantly in and out so you cant get changed in there. - Room was not cleaned as much as I would have liked, however towels were changed often. - The food was poor. Very repetative, warm, not much choice, struggled to get a seat sometimes at end of season so can't imagine it at peak times! Drinks weren't good either -cheap coffee, the fruit juices were like watered down sweet drinks. Desserts were the exact same every evening. The ice cream was a free for all with kids getting sprinkles and sauces everywhere. The snack bar is order only, is open long hours but its very poor quality meat being used. I would stay either self catering or half board and venture out to one of the resturants close by if i were you. - Entertainment was...bizzare. Like BTEC drama kind of thing. Very samey, although the kids seemed to love it, apart from mine who was completely traumatised by the Shaman show. I had to remove her and take her for a walk, she then refused to watch any shows for the rest of the week. The pirate attack in the day time however is great fun and well thought out. There is a firework show that is great....to start with but it goes on and on and on into the night, extremley loud when trying to sleep. This is accompanied by very loud drums close to the rooms. - Surfaces incuding stairs are very slippy when wet. - The people there are not the sort we usually associate with. Benidorm type - loud, drinking all day, swearing, smoking around the pool, leaving their kids unattended type. - People queing for sunbeds for over an hour when there are plenty. - pools not heated which in october is FREEZING. - Kids beds are pull out single beds in the kitchen/living area. Doesnt feel very nice, secure or homeley for the kids. - Safe didnt work. - The sea is dirty, not very good for snorkelling. Good points: - Themed hotel is amazing for detail, really is like a pirates village and they go all out for halloween, even dyed the pool red! was fantastic. - The rooms were like mini apartments and we had a cooker, fridge/freezer, kettles etc. I usually stay in normal rooms - however found having a mini kitchen really handy. - The beds are really comfortable - memory foam. Amazing pillows too. - Lots of storage for clothes and suitcases. - Staff are all very friendly and polite. - Location wise: perfect. Shorter transfer than jet2 state, town is right outside the door. To the right is the most amazing market type shop owned by an Asian family. They sell absolutley everything and so cheap. There is also a supermarket just up the road. To the left, the town with lots of shops and resturants, also har braiders there. Bus stop two minutes away. Bus and trains really cheap, frequent and easy to understand/get around the island. - Things to do: Really well connected area. The jet 2 rep was amazing but we planned most ourselves. I would very much recommend the Waterpark which is a short journey away. Amazing, full packed day! We would have went to the pirates show but it was closed, we did it a few years ago and it was incredible. We took the bus to the town on a rainy day and explored, great shopping. We also visited the cathedral and did our own trip on the 125 year old wooden train and trams. This is a must do - cheaper if you do it on your own and really easy to work out. It was absolutley stunning. Never experienced anything like it! The bus and train station is all connected as one undergound, really easy to change between the two. We also did a day trip to the shopping outlet via train and had a great day, lots to do and eat there too. - The beach is lovely, clean and has a little forest boardering it which is nice, sunloungers are average price. Overall - wouldn't return to the hotel but I'd return to the area. Our very first holiday was Katmandu and once you have stayed there it is hard to find something to compare.
