“Quiet and relaxing place”

Situated in a Golf course. May be it is not a perfect hotel but it is not a bad option. Some thinks must improve i.e. restaurant, breakfast, carpets of the corridor, furniture mantainance, poor service lights. Situated in a Golf course. May be it is not a perfect hotel but it is not a bad option. Some thinks must improve i.e. restaurant, breakfast, carpets of the corridor, furniture mantainance, poor service lights. Nevertheless its quite and relaxing (although the bar music is loud) and the room clean. Best the rooms over the golf course. Staff nice but not charming. I paid 64 € B&B February. Good value.

From other reviews I’d read, I was expecting a really warm welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, the lady that greeted us on reception was nice enough and two of male bar staff were, but the young lad that greeted us at breakfast the 1st morning, made us feel like we had done something wrong, by actually going down for breakfast grunted at us for our room number, didn’t explain that it was only continental, so when we tried to order a full English to then be told it wasn’t available til after 9, this wasn’t stated on website when we booked, and it would be 8/9 euros (I can’t quite remember price as it was in august) we felt a bit humiliated as there were other guests maybe Spanish/French there and he rolled his eyes and said something to them, obviously about us. He stayed on his phone with his back to us while mumbling at us, Needless to say we didn’t go back down for breakfast there and ventured out, lots of lovely places to go and find beautiful food and welcoming atmosphere, around Santa ponsa main strip. Drinks were expensive at the bar in hotel on a evening, cocktail jugs were nice, but full of ice, not a lot of alcohol, the last night the barman, made a fuss of us and finally made us feel welcome. Room extremely basic, but it did have a fan in and it was clean, view from balcony wasn’t the best, also a tiny bathroom, if your bigger than a size 18 you may have a job squeezing through to get to the toilet/shower
