Nice hotel, well located but rooms are tired. We arrived late and given room 141 ....awful room on the road above the Spar and directly opposite Bar Zurich. Fortunately, after raising our concerns with reception, we were allowed to move to a second floor room pool side. Much, much better. Couple of niggles issued with plastic glasses on arrival..why?......Bar staff immediately replace them everytime you have a drink. No kettle or cups in the room. Tea coffee machines turned off at lunch and meal times...tea/ coffee available via flasks and paper cups in the bar area. No pool towels, buffet restaurant a tad monotonous no hot griddle no pancakes, omelette etc. For breakfast. The food was good and the buffet was regularly refreshed.

“Had the best holiday”

First time at Golbales Santa Ponsa. Didn’t realise that it was linked to another hotel in the same chain so 2 large hotels shared 2 large pools and 1 child pool. First time at Golbales Santa Ponsa. Didn’t realise that it was linked to another hotel in the same chain so 2 large hotels shared 2 large pools and 1 child pool. We stayed for 11 days and everyday struggled to get a bed around the pool. Towels were removed but one party member was allowed to guard numerous beds. Please use the space and add more beds! Glabales do own the hotel opposite so we used that and it was so much quieter and plenty of beds. We found all staff friendly and professional. Restaurant staff go above and beyond. Food was fresh and plenty to choose from, even with 2 young fussy eaters we never had to stress. Beach is a short walk away and we spent many hours playing. Overall we had the best time!

I did have a amazing holiday, the food is very basic but mostly edible, there is lots of choice but food is mostly cold… We ate at hotel mainly at breakfast time, always planned to have meals out even though all inclusive but very disappointed with the meals we had there… snack bar at sister hote... more

I did have a amazing holiday, the food is very basic but mostly edible, there is lots of choice but food is mostly cold… We ate at hotel mainly at breakfast time, always planned to have meals out even though all inclusive but very disappointed with the meals we had there… snack bar at sister hotel is great and is hot. Entertainment is awful here, always ended up at sister hotels for entertainment and it is only n for a hour…. The pionora hotel is definitely more lively… The pool at Santa Ponsa is far the best no shade at the others and no space either…. Rooms very basic , tiny shower but very comfortable…has hairdryer…. 5 mins from beach perfect location
