“Really enjoyed it”

Beds were very hard, but mentioned it to reception and were changed same day to much softer mattress. Staff were all very friendly and the food was always a good selection. Hotel was all very clean and good sized rooms. Decor was a bit tired, but advised that all being refurbished over winter

Travelled to the Bahia Del Sol with Tui in early September, my 4th visit to Santa Ponsa this year and the hotel exceeded expectations. The hotel is clean, serves good food, staff are friendly and my room was the biggest thatI have stayed in Santa Ponsa . Slight negatives, poor internet and entertainment, but there is plenty going on in Santa Ponsa. A big quibble for me is paying for drinks at checkout and being overcharged .

Very good experience, hotel is near centre and well equipped, have indoor pool with steam room, etc and outdoor pool.Good choice of meals, we booked half board that gave a good selection at both meal times. Very good experience, hotel is near centre and well equipped, have indoor pool with steam room, etc and outdoor pool.Good choice of meals, we booked half board that gave a good selection at both meal times. Good rooftop bar and also a chill out area on the fifth floor, All staff were very friendly and helpful.would have been five rating apart if not for jacuzzi not working and the usual complaint of not always hot plates, but considering the amount of guests and the length of sittings this is understandable.

“Average hotel nothing spectacular”

Room: I stayed as a solo guest and they gave me a room at the back of the hotel in an annex building, to access the room I had to go up in one lift walk along a long corridor then take another second lift to the floor where the room was. The room itself was small & basic with a double bed & fridge, no kettle, with a view of the road behind the hotel. The aircon in the room was very good tho. Food: Being half board and arriving late on the first night I was faced with the leftovers of cardboard pizza slices, hard chips & small bits of chicken. On the other nights I got down early just as the dining room opened, which is key to getting any fresh or decent selection of food, it seemed like once the quota of meats & fish was gone it wasn’t being replenished or not with a sufficient amount anyway. The dining area gets very crowded too with long queues for pretty much everything in the food buffet. Pool Area: I only managed to get a sunbed at the main pool one of the mornings around 9am, you have to be an early riser to try to snag a sun lounger here as there seems to be a shortage considering the amount of guests the hotel holds. The pool area is nice and the music was mainly Spanish pop music, maybe to cater for a large amount of Spanish tourists as it was August. I did notice a smaller pool with a sun terrace up on the second floor accessed through a glass door, this looked nice and quiet and chilled out here. Location: The hotel location is pretty good in terms of close to everything. There’s a decent supermarket across the road and a Spar just up a bit, there’s a couple of restaurants & bars just outside the hotel on the street but they seemed fairly quiet when I was going by. Its about a 15 min walk up to Daniels Corner and the main Santa Ponsa strip where the music bars & the lively spots are. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk to the start of it. All in all the hotel is nothing to write home about, it’s in a good location so id prob stay here again if the price was right just using it as a base really.
