We went here from the 22nd to the 29th oct. Was great having the entertainment outside, plenty of seats and bar never too busy. On the few days left of our holiday the hotel wasn’t full capacity so the entertainment moved inside. Not as much room and the board changed. No abba or Michael Jackson tributes! Just singers and 1 acrobat act. Apart from that the hotel was fantastic!! Always somewhere to eat and we did all the themed the Mexican we did twice. The goa was the best for us. Near to beach and the facilities for little ones was the best we had ever seen, so much so we have booked for next year with the grandchildren!!

Decent squash courts Adding this as I couldn’t find many details on the hotel website or in other reviews. The Protur Hotels have a tennis complex that includes 17 clay tennis courts and 2 padel courts, in addition there are two squash courts in decent condition. The floors have been varnished though are not slippery. Access is complementary for hotel visitors and you book in the club house for one hour slots. There are racquet and calls that you can borrow though they are pretty basic metal racquets ok for a knock up, though predictably not great. A usual facility especially when the weather is bad.

Our third (and probably last) visit to this lovely family-friendly hotel so I'll keep it brief. Pros: Swift check-in by friendly Reception staff. Managed to book Goa restaurant when we checked in and didn't bother trying any others. We requested a one bedroom apartment next or near to our daughter and her family and we got 4045 and 4043 - very happy. Rooms very clean, plenty of storage, beds comfortable for us. Aircon very efficient A good choice of food in the buffet for breakfast and evening meals and nicely cooked and presented. We ate at the Grill if we wanted lunch. Pools lovely although a little bit chilly Loads of sunbeds whatever time of day you go to the pools. Entertainment certainly improved over previous years. Beer and Sangria very good All staff super friendly and very efficient. Weather much better than forecast (mid to high 20s) Cons: We weren't told we could exchange our pool towels during the week when we checked in, nor was it mentioned on the information sheet we were given. At the end of the week our pool towels were disgusting (the facility is hidden away at the end of Reception desk!) Shame La Reserva closed before the hotel closes. Wine and most spirits are dreadful. No Spanish dishes served at dinner in the buffet (e,g, patatas bravas, paella, prawn dishes ..... etc) in the week we were there. We've accompanied our daughter, son-in-law and their increasing family of little ones (a 3 year old and 6 month old twins) over the last 3 years and unless they decide to go again next year and still require help we probably won't return. It's a great hotel, particularly for families with babies and very young children as all rooms have a kettle, microwave and fridge which is perfect for sterilising and preparing babies bottles. Plenty of lifts and no problem getting the double pushchair in the smaller ones. I expect the planned refurbishment of the hotel and rooms will be fantastic.
