Nice hotel about 500m from the beach. Three buildings with the quite large outside pool area. Very well equipped room, with small kitchen, two sofas plus an extra bedroom with bathroom. Space enough for 4 people. Excellent food on all inclusive basis, local drinks, Amstel beer (:. Very clean, helpful staff. WiFi for a fee only (weekly or daily rate, 24/6,-EUR). Outdoor swimming pool, clean, but little bit cold, indoor swimming pool with small jacuzzi, sauna, steam. Gym. At this time mostly retired German couples, a few young families with small children. Nearby car and bike rentals. In April there is an ideal weather for bicycling or walking/hiking tours. Not so many tourist, optimal for active holiday. I would recommend it at all.

First of all: this is an ALLSUN hotel. This means it is owned by Alltours, which again means you can expect 90% German speaking families here. It also means that almost everything is done in German including animation. However it also means that the people are in general nice, you won't find drunk people in the pool at 11 am and that everything is run efficiently. The hotel has 240 rooms. While I was there 60% was occupied which meant that there was enough space at the pool and in the restaurant. Not really sure how this will work in the real busy season. The good: -Quality/price: this hotel is relatively cheap compared to others but the quality is not less in most ways. Purely bang for the buck you can't miss -Food: We were there for 12 days and I have to say the kitchen was great. Of Course it is buffet food, so don't expect the same flavour as you will find in that nice little spanish restaurant down the road, but in general good food. -Rooms: 40m2. Seperate bedroom, balcony, refrigerator, dining table. That is almost apartment sized (and I am thinking it once used to be that way). -The beach nearby. 5 mins walk, excellent beach & crystal clear water + lifeguard. You can get two types of beds. Expensive: 35 euro for two cushion beds + fixed umbrella + 2 consumptions) and cheap (16, two cheaper looking beds + 1 fixed umbrella) -The pool : big pool that has no chloride (active oxygen cleaning I am guessing). I hate the chloride on my skin, but this pool alone gives this place 4 instead of 3 stars The bad: -This hotel is not really all-inclusive. It is a full pension including free drinks kind of all inclusive. That means that there is no food in the afternoon (well, you can get a piece of cake and a small sandwich). No food after the main restaurant is closed. You need to pay for the lockers, you need to pay to get your beach towel replaced. -The hotel has a slightly run-down feeling. Not sure why, but must be because it is surrounded by much crispier (and much more expensive ) looking 4* hotels. -The coffee. Everywhere in Spain you can get excellent coffee. Every little beach bar has a decent coffee making machine. Coffee=Life in Spain. In this hotel they use those really old-fashioned coffee machines that pour a DISGUSTING cup of coffee. I have spent over 100 euros this holiday simply going outside and getting a decent cup of coffee -The shower. According to this hotel, people are always shorter than 180. The showers look nice and have a rain-shower. That is installed at 180 height, so I bumped my head during showers and every time -The shows. I was here for 12 days and witnessed several shows. Except for 2 outside performers the shows were simply bad. OK, I understand you can't expect Circle du soleil kind of shows, but we witnessed e.g. a Michael Jackson that was so bad that we genuinely wondered if they ever had done this before The ugly: -I understand there are corona rules you need to follow. And that the personnel are instructed to point this out to guests. However there are two ways of doing this: a good way: most of the Spanish personnel who smiled and politely asked. And a bad way: several German people from the animation team who we started calling the SS-boy and the Gestapo girl (you know who you are). You can imagine in what kind of way they spoke to the customers. Service with a smile simply did not exist to them. -I rented a car for the duration of the holiday. They claim to have no parking space and ask you to park your car in the neighborhood. Not advised since people are walking next to your car every 30 secs and the chance some damage occurs is significant. I simply parked my car behind the hotel. There is a parking space there that belongs to another hotel but you can easily get from that place to the hotel.

We stayed for the summer along with our 12 year old son for 10 days. Generally it is no hazzle Hotel, walkable distance to the beach; provides easy access to bus stop and nearby market. It has only All-Inclusive. So Food and Drinks are quite adequate. Generally everybody was helpful. They were also very quick in responding to every small complaint (rather comments). Everything (rooms, open spaces, Restaurant) is clean and neat. The rooms were quite spacious and well organised with sufficient spaces for storage. I am just giving this hotel an average because I expected a bit more for the amount payed. The gym actually existing is lot less than what it appears on the pictures shown. The food was just okay. We had much better variety for a lesser total price. Entertainment was just average. The Hotels around seemed to have a lot more interesting ...they were loud enough for us to hear. After paying such a price many small things we had to pay including WLAN (though we decided to take leave of our digital world for 10 days because of this..and in the end we were thankful as life did not collapse without it) . I would recommend to pick this hotel if you come across it with a special offer and discount. As most of Reviews say , I would not recommend this Hotel for non-Germans or People without Kids .
