We just had a week here. Positives-cleanest place I’ve stayed, beds changed and fresh towels each day Staff in dining area/reception are outstanding and work so hard, they go above and beyond Those 2 girls coordinating the entertainment are absolutely wonderful, always smiling and genuinely happy all the time with huge smiles Food is better than 3 stars, always fresh and plenty , something for all Room we had on 4th floor was super, great beds/pillows/balcony and plenty room After that observing for a week I completely understand the no ball rule in the pool, it depends who is on, but it’s a pain really for others Only negative I have is the time the pool opens, families/kids are up early and have to wait hours, even 9am would be better Apart from that great location, entertainment stops at 11 which is sensible allowing guests a rest It’s our 2nd time here after being here 8 years ago, as our kids are growing I sadly doubt we will return but I highly recommend for young families. Outstanding in every way, keep up the hard work guys, you will have guests return year after year

I was a bit worried before we arrived due to some negative reviews, however, I think people should remember this is rated as a 3 star hotel not the Ritz! We had a lovely time as this hotel has many positives. The location of this hotel is superb with shops, bars and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away. The cove type beach across the road is stunning. Housekeeping do an amazing job of keeping the room clean, towels changed and beds made. The rooms are dated but functional. Our balcony was on the corner of the building so was quite large. Pull down airer was a nice touch. Mattresses were comfortable and bed linen/mattress protectors spotless. Bathroom was functional and the water pressure was good in the shower (better than at home to be honest). Air con did work quite well once you figured it out - ours worked when it said it was off! Haha! Breakfast was really good but lunch and dinner was a little repetitive but was of a good quality. Cuba Libre from the snack bar were gorgeous (I should know I had enough of them)! Sun Loungers were comfortable and plentiful. Pool area was very clean probably owing to the 1 euro cup deposit which works well and there are plenty of bins on each terrace. We don't have young children so can't vouch for the kids entertainment but we found the adult entertainment sadly lacking so went out a lot in the evening. The lifeguards are quite strict but keep it safe for all. The last thing to say it that the entry system to the rooms is inspired and is the best I have ever encountered even in 5 star hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the La Mirada Club.

My Family of 3 returned home on Saturday after a week at the Mirada. It’s in a fantastic location, literally a couple of minutes to the beach and bars and restaurants. The lovely marina is a short 20 minute stroll away. The hotel is a decent 3*, our family room was a good size and clean. Shower and bathroom ok… sometimes shower hot and cold.. unfortunately the towels were threadbare. Beds were comfortable but with no mattress or pillow protectors. The pool area is fab, patrolled by a lifeguard and clean.. doesn’t open till 10 and there are prime spots 😁. Staff at the hotel were respectful and professional, especially Christian on the bar, lovely smiley chap. Breakfast was great… however we were really disappointed with the rest of the food. But on the plus side we therefore had to eat out, tidy pizzeria restaurant on the corner by the hotel was our favourite. Animation girls were superb, always smiling and getting people involved. Market on a Wednesday .. go early because it’s so busy .. bus cost about £8 for the 3 of us. Road train went past the marina which was the only highlight and cost £12.50. Overall lovely holiday. 👍🏻🏖️😁
