Second time visiting JS Cape Colom. Stayed for 10 nights, 2 rooms on 1st and 2nd floor. Good sea views. Rooms are spacious, ample storage, could do with an extra shelf in the bathroom and a plug socket near the bedroom mirror. Cleaned daily. Slightly dated in decor but no impact on holiday. We stayed all inclusive, food has a good choice, show cooking at all mealtimes. Even being fussy I could always find something. This hotel is perfect for peace, relaxation and not getting up at 6am to get a sunbed! The beds are set out around the grounds with various outlooks, sea view, pool view, shaded areas. Take your pick. The beach is approx 10 minute walk, worth a visit. The harbour is also 10 minutes away. Very few restaurants, shops etc nearby. There is a gym and spa on the 6th floor, worth a visit just for the views. The staff are all lovely, Miguel on reception is comical. If you're on a late flight, use the shower rooms up at the spa. This hotel needs a little tlc in areas but nothing that would affect your holiday. We would definitely return for a short break. You feel so calm and rested here.

We had a fantastic week here - the views are absolutely stunning and definitely the main selling point of the hotel. There are plenty of sun beds scattered around where you can enjoy these views, and some around the pool (although most beds are not poolside). There are more than enough sun beds to go around and many still vacant by the afternoon so you will never struggle. The rooms are a good size with bedside tables and wardrobes with plenty of storage space. The beds are probably one of the comfiest I have had on holiday! The food was great, from two fussy eaters we never struggled to find anything that we liked and the choice was varied and plentiful. We particularly enjoyed the kebabs and fajitas on offer a couple of nights. There is an open cooking station where fish/meat is cooked in front of you at dinner, and for breakfast here you can get freshly cooked bacon, a fresh fried egg or an omelette made right before you! There is not a lot in Porto Colom so if you are looking for a more lively holiday then this probably isn’t it. We did however enjoy the shisha bar down the road from the hotel and a couple of the beach bars at Cala Marcal (beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel). The all inclusive menu at the hotel covers most drinks and cocktails that you would like - spirits, beer, daquiri, mojito, pina colada etc so we never found ourselves needing to pay for drinks at the hotel. As we went out of the hotel most nights we didn’t see much of the entertainment, however the singer on the Friday evening was pretty good as hotel entertainment goes and had everyone up dancing at one point! We got engaged on our trip which makes this place now a special memory for us, so we will absolutely be returning to this hotel one day!

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I don't usually write reviews but how could I not about this place. After reading the reviews it sounded perfect for my first solo holiday and it did not disappoint. The hotel was clean, more than enough choice of food at meal times and all of the staff were super friendly and evidently work very hard. As previously reviews advise there are plenty of sunloungers and tables at meal times. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the views are incredible. I would highly recommend a message with Valerana, I went for a 50 minute aromatherapy full body massage and it was amazing. I had the most fabulous 4 night stay here and I will definitely be back.

“Friends holiday”

This hotel is brilliant. If you want peace and quiet. This is the place. Clean tidy and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. No entertainment evert night when Mr classic is on.....very well worth watching. He was brilliant and brought the crowd together.
