“Great apartments in a great location”

This was our third visit to Habitat and once again it didn't disappoint! Apartment was fresh, spacious, bright and clean. Beds were comfortable and had a good night sleep every night. The location is great - there is a small supermarket across the road has all your basic needs plus freshly cooked, warm baguettes and pastries. There is also a bar if you don't want to walk to Puerto Pollensa. The walk to Puerto Pollensa is about 15-20 mins however, we jumped on the bus just on the road outside which stops at the bus depot and is a couple of minutes walk to the town centre.

“Duvahabit Apartments ... good value but getting tired”

We usually stay at the Duva Hotel and apartments, the sister hotel complex on the same site but Duvahabit offered a cheaper option for our cycling group. Same Apartments as the two-bedroomed Duva Apartments and with two swimming pools which were nice and clean. There is a small cafe within which was barely used. Now, ... the apartments, as said have a lounge diner which can be used as two single beds for older children/teenagers but wouldn't recommend for adults. The kitchenette is basic but has fridge, hob and microwave. Not suitable for full meal preparation but fine for general snacks and light meals. Main bedroom has two single beds which were comfortable. Second bedroom is small but has a single bed with second pull out bed suitable for children or single adult. Decor was tired with bathroom door swollen as water was escaping from shower tray. Skirting board hanging off and deep gouges in living room flooring. Nice big balcony with table and chairs overlooking pool. General: Good location within 15 min walk of Eroski supermarket although there is a small convenience store over the road open until 9.30pm but which is pricey. Also the White Rose pub for food. Staff at complex were very helpful and polite. Recommended if not too fusy on decor as the Apartments do offer good value.

“Fine but wouldn’t stay again”

Overall our stay was fine but a huge let down for us occurred at check in which unfortunately left us with a really poor first impression. We arrived at 9pm for check in with our 10 month old baby, and asked the staff member at the desk if the cot we had pre-booked was already set up in the room.… more

Overall our stay was fine but a huge let down for us occurred at check in which unfortunately left us with a really poor first impression. We arrived at 9pm for check in with our 10 month old baby, and asked the staff member at the desk if the cot we had pre-booked was already set up in the room. We were then told that there were no cots available despite the fact we had pre-booked one with our apartment. The staff member didn’t seem to care and said we could have a spare mattress instead, which obviously for a 10 month old baby is not appropriate given how much they move around in their sleep and the risk of falling. We were left with no option but to co-sleep and move around furniture to ensure there was no risk of our baby falling out of bed, which was not ideal for us and resulted in a very poor nights sleep for us all, but this would have been totally unacceptable had this happened to a family and baby with health concerns where co-sleeping can be dangerous. This fell far below our expectations for apartments which are supposedly child friendly. One of the pools was filled with dead leaves and there were loads of mosquitoes outside made worse by the plants and stagnant water ponds in the grounds. Location wise it was not as peaceful as we expected, the noise and view of the busy road was a shame and the loud music in the bar across the road late at night was annoying. WiFi was terrible, I used my data instead. Positive points are the apartment is cleaned regularly, parking availability was good, the air con worked well and it was easy walking distance to local amenities.
