Excellent hotel with lovely staff, especially at reception. The surroundings are aesthetic and the gym and spa are both great too. I had a head massage which was one of the best treatments I’ve had. Room was clean and had a decent amount of space (we booked a garden room). Air con worked well, we had an issue with it one day but we reported it and it was quickly resolved. The breakfast had lots of options and decent quality, cava available there too. Breakfast is served by the pool overlooking the beach which we loved. We booked half board as it was a decent price to add it on, three restaurants available and all good quality. Rooftop bar area is great for sunset drinks and Palma is easy to access on the bus, though it does get busy. Drinks are probably priced averagely and similar to other bars in the area but not the cheapest compared to other hotels we’ve been to in Mallorca. The service around the pool for drinks is good, loved the pink sun loungers too! There aren’t any large supermarkets close by which means buying water etc is pricier than it might be otherwise. You could easily get a taxi or bus to one if you wanted to however. Overall we loved it and would definitely go back.

We have recently spent 7 night at Pure Salt Garonda and hope this will not be our last visit. We booked a garden view room and were give. Room 521 which was on the top floor and faced the rear of the hotel - we were really pleased as these rooms have very private balconies as all other balconies at front and side are adjacent to each other. The room was very spacious and clean, super comfortable beds and lovely bathroom with complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, robes and slippers. Breakfast was excellent - fresh juices, fruit and large continental section and also egg/omelette/pancake station cooked to order and some other cooked choices. Breakfast is served outside overlooking the beach, which was blissful in the morning. The pool is a good size and has disabled access available. The pool doesn’t open until 10 but towels were down pretty early if you wanted a sunbed that got the sun first. Please note that sun doesn’t hit the pool area until around 11.30 and probably takes to 1pm before all beds are in the sun - we tended to either go to the beach or do stuff in the morning and use the pool in the afternoon, beds weren’t always available and usual problem of towels sitting on beds all day and not getting used - hotel need to address this as guests who want to use the pool were missing out due to these practises. There is sunbeds and a splash pool in the rooftop bar - we used those a few times and preferred it as the sunbeds are actually in the water and have amazing views. We didn’t eat in the hotel at night but lots of nice restaurants nearby and we took the bus from behind the hotel Ito Palma in the evening where there are some lovely restaurants and not as busy as during the day. The only negative we had which was not the hotels fault, was a large group of women celebrating birthdays - they were extremely noisy shouting and swearing around the pool most days. We booked this hotel as it was a spa and adults only hotel which we thought would have a chilled atmosphere, this group spoiled that for most people as they were drinking and shouting at breakfast and all day at the pool but luckily were only there for the weekend. Maybe the hotel should consider restrictions around larger same sex parties… All ages and nationalities were staying at this hotel which we liked, ages ranged from elderly to those in their 20’s looking for a peaceful time. Look forward to our next stay soon.

“Brilliant hotel but cold pool”

We had a fabulous stay at Pure Salt Garonda. All the staff were kind and welcoming. My mum described our meal at Salty Restaurant as "the best meal out she's had in a long time", staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating for a gluten free diet. We had a fabulous stay at Pure Salt Garonda. All the staff were kind and welcoming. My mum described our meal at Salty Restaurant as "the best meal out she's had in a long time", staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating for a gluten free diet. The choice of restaurants in the hotel was a huge bonus. The only thing letting the hotel down is that the pool was so cold.

When we arrived for our 3 day stay we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a junior suite. The view overlooking the front and sea was great. The suite was huge and clean with a lovely modern bathroom and big shower. Then we found the air con was not working so after reporting it the technician came but after repair it was still not effective. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and lovely views. Pool area is small but the beach is just a few yards away. There is a sky bar which we visited twice. Both times we left without receiving service. 😳 Room service was good. Lots of bars and restaurants very close. If we could pick this hotel up and put it elsewhere we would visit again but the area was not for us. Hundreds of Germans gathered in this area and so if you are English you may wish to choose carefully….unless of course you have a good command of the German language. The hotel was really good. Just a shame it’s in this area.
