Great hotel, lovely helpful staff. Nice rooms, free iced water dispenser on each floor. Towels and bedding changed frequently during 2 week stay. Good choice and selection of food which must satisfy most people. Sunbeds available, tables to sit at near the pool for a drink, and a good variety of entertainment in the evening (as well as being able to watch all the euro football matches.). Staff came round during evenings offering free liqueurs to everyone. Plenty of daytime activities. 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of buses to go into Palma, 40 minute journey cost 2 euro per person.

“Excellent hotel, location, staff and food.”

Lovely staff, location, hotel and excellent food. Will go again whenever in Majorca. Close to Palma also which is always lively for an evening out for change of scenery. Only place to be in Playa De Palma as the location was spot on. Beach 2 min walk.

I stayed at the Iberostar Cristina for 4 nights with my daughter booking with EasyJet holidays, first time using EasyJet holidays, upon arrival at the airport we were given a piece of paper from the easyJet rep and told to go to the transfer desk to find out our coach number for our transfer. We followed the instructions and found out our coach number. Usually when we go on holiday the transfer coach is with holidaymakers from the UK, on this coach we were the only people from the Uk it wasn’t a issue but thought I’d highlight this for any fellow passengers coming from the Uk. It a nice short transfer and we arrived in 30 mins. We were welcomed with Cava at reception which is a nice touch. Our room wasn’t ready as we arrived in the morning which wasn’t a problem. We were told they would text /email us when it was ready. I would comment that we weren’t given any information about the hotel upon checking in i.e where the pool, restaurant, snack bar was located I know this isn’t a real problem but it would of been nice to give a little map or explanation. Lucky for us there was a lovely man who helps with the luggage he explained we could leave our luggage in the luggage room & go and get changed in the changing rooms in the floor below. We found the pool but again as it hadn’t been explained we wasn’t sure where the snacks were located, we did find them eventually. The pool area is kept very clean & it was lovely not having to get up at the crack of dawn to save a sun lounger, you could wander down at 10 and still find one. The towels are located in the snack bar in the corner again this wasn’t told at check in & we noticed quite a few people asking the lifeguards where to get their towels from. Food: this has got to be one of the best hotels for food, amazing selection & cooked fresh if you wanted it, the only thing confusing is the all inclusive drinks, there was a different system for lunch & dinner, lunchtime you got it yourself & dinner time you had to ask a waitress , this proved challenging as they seemed to be busy cleaning plates away & quite often we were sat there with our food but no drinks. I know it’s not the hotel’s fault but the all inclusive to me isn’t really all inclusive it only includes alcoholic drinks of wine, cava or beer all which my daughter doesn’t drink. You are allowed 3 at lunch & 3 at dinner. I would struggle to drink 3 glasses in such a short time. I would prefer to have the 6 drinks spread out over the day. I know this isn’t the hotels fault but I think it should be noted more on the holiday companies websites. I also thought the cocktails were expensive and should be discounted if you were all inclusive The room we had was on the 5th floor overlooking the tennis courts & we were lucky to have a side sea view, the beds are comfortable & it was a nice touch having shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. We could only find 1 English Channel on the tv. The rooms have a fridge but no tea making facilities. We watched some of the entertainment which looked good. In all we had a lovely relaxing time, if the hotel wasn’t in the red zone for all inclusive then I would stay agin but unfortunately as it isn’t I would choose another location next time.

Food was great and location was good for beach but let down by room which was not 4 star, basic, balcony facing the tennis courts and a back entrance with a dangerous drop covered by a thin sheet of plastic, which as this was a family room was not what you’d want. Rooms were so badly insulated and there were people coming back drunk at 3am into where families were, through hotel had had various complaints and had obviously had a word with them, they still woke people up the next night, groups of men watching the Euros and families just don’t mix! Bus stop outside the hotel but bear in mind it after the fourth full bus not stopping you’re better off walking left to the top through the less salubrious area to get the bus there. All in all hotel was average, not super clean, shower leaked badly onto the floor and had done a while by the lifting of the floor, smoke alarm flashed red all night so assuming battery needed changing so I think the reviews are a bit misleading as to what to expect, bar staff were great and most food staff. Lots of cats which is a bonus.
