Lovely hotel about 15 minites walk to the beach and 10 minutes from the main strip . Went with my friend and her daughter and daughter in law on half board basis . Rooms were ok with a fridge and safe . And a balcony Ask receptionist if we could have a kettle for the room and it was delivered within 10 minutes. Breakfast and evening meal were the usual that you get at other hotels , we only ate out one evening and that was with a fussy eater with us .so always something that you could put together Kudos the entertainment guy was first class , a credit to the hotel and also the bar staff were great . Rooms cleaned everyday and clean towels if you left them on the floor . We had never been to an adults only hotel and thought it would be too quiet for us but it was such a relaxing peaceful week , even with two youngsters with us they enjoy it too .as I said the main strip is only 10 minutes walk so not far if you want more . The mosquitoes were on another level thou !! We took stuff with us thou but still never helped , also reception provided stuff if you needed it , but this isn’t anything that’s the hotels problem . All in all a great weeks peaceful break

“Gem of a hotel!”

What a wonderful hotel, such friendly helpful staff and didn't feel crowded even when it was full. Rooms are on the small size, but kept spotlessly clean, hardly in it anyway! Table and chairs outside on the terrace or balcony. Shops, restaurants and the beach are a short walk away as are the bus stops, excellent service to Palma and Alcudia. Only thing to worry about is mosquitos, unfortunately it is plagued by them as near a freshwater lake. Reception do have spray if you forget your, we got a few bites but not too many. Plugins are also provided in the rooms. We stayed half board, breakfast buffet has everything you could possibly want with fresh eggs, omelettes and pancakes cooked daily to order. Yoghurts, cereal, fresh fruit, ham, cheese etc. Excellent choice of bread and pastries every day and also offer a choice of milk. Evening buffets also have wide selection of meat and fish, freshly cooked in front of you. Always a pasta option available. Dishes of salads, vegetables, fruits and cakes only small so no worries about food sitting around for hours, they are constantly refilled. Soup is available every day, along with cheese so you can have as many courses as you like. I saw the chef speaking to guests with dietary needs and allergies etc, advising them what was or wasn't suitable. Chilled water fountain out by the pool so take a refillable bottle. Drinks very reasonably priced. You can "pay" for everything on your wrist band that is also your key so no need to carry money or loose keys around. We settled our bill the night before we left and were surprised at how low it was! Kuba, who ran the daily games and entertainment, is excellent. Encourages you to join in but doesn't pressure you if you fancy a lazy day reading! Reception staff were all very helpful, we asked for more hangers and they were there shortly afterwards. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Firstly I cannot speak highly enough of the reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. We arrived at 10pm and check in was smooth. When we booked (10months earlier) we had specifically asked for 3 rooms together 2 up and one down as my mother has mobility issues and my youngest son has autism so I wanted to be close by. We ended up with one up and one down in one block and one room in the next block along. When we opened the door to our room there was no respite from the heat, despite the key being left in and the aircon running. We soon realised we had a problem. After a very uncomfortable night I reported to reception who sent a maintenance guy out. He held his temperature reader on the grill of the aircon and said “16 degrees” and shrugged. He then moved a foot to his left and it read 25… again he shrugged and said keep all doors and windows closed (we’d done this since arriving) and then he left. This was room 334. Our son’s room 326, wasn’t much better and emanated an unpleasant smell when the aircon kicked in. My parents room 325, was the only room that felt pleasant. They offered us another room a few blocks away but upon entering, the lady from reception who had checked our room previously said “this isn’t much better is it?”. They clearly have a problem with a few of their rooms and need to get it sorted. I don’t ask for much on holiday but aircon is the one thing I want and pay for. They ended up giving us a fan, which took the edge off a bit but didn’t make a lot of difference. So, apart from sweating, A LOT, everything else was great. Breakfast has lots to choose from and is fresh and plentiful. The pool is beautiful and never overcrowded. Be warned, there are two types of sun loungers .. white ones that aren’t adjustable and are really hard on the bum or green ones that are apparently only for guests who have paid for “premium” whatever that means. As it wasn’t too busy we took two of the green ones for my parents as the white ones were so uncomfortable. The town is approx 10min walk with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Across the road from the shops is where you’ll find the beach. There was entertainment a few nights, mostly singers who were really good. Mosquitos are relentless and even with 2 bracelets, an anklet and spraying myself with deet didn’t keep the buggers away. If you fancy a meal out, highly recommend Smiths. Owned by an English lady and the food is delicious.

Just got back after staying here for a week (3/07/24 – 10/07/24) And overall it was a fantastic holiday. After pulling up to the hotel in the transfer coach you could instantly tell that the hotel is beautiful, and as soon as you walk into reception you know you made a good choice! The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained and tidy! You can tell the groundsmen work very hard! We had a standard room for the week which was fine. The room was cleaned everyday and was just about big enough. Although I will say the gap at the bottom of the bed which is the only walkway to the other side of the room was very tight and I found myself stubbing my toe on the bed more than once and you also need to dodge the TV on the wall. The only other issue we found was the smell in the bathroom! After using the shower on our first day we noticed that a few hours later it smelt a little like stagnant water which wasn’t pleasant so we had to make sure the window was open after each shower! Although this didn’t remedy the issue completely it worked well enough. This was in a ground-floor room. We didn’t raise this issue with reception but as I said, with the window left open throughout the day (The window does have a bug guard) it was no longer an issue. The room came equipped with a safe which I assume you would need to pay a deposit or something for and a small fridge and that’s it. No tea or coffee making facilities and our cups that were supplied in the room were not changed and we had no way of cleaning them. My favorite parts of the room were that you could easily walk to the pool each day without walking around and that the bed was very comfortable! The food here was okay. Breakfast was great and offered everything you would expect and we enjoyed it each day. We had lunch from the snack bar once and that was absolutely fine also. However the evening meals are not to be desired. We found the range of options to be generally poor and bland. We had evening meals in the hotel twice during our stay and paid 21 Euros each. The Indian theme didn’t make much sense and didn’t offer much or anything that you would expect really. The Mexican theme was better but again not much selection and the food was bland. If your budget allows id recommend taking the 15 minute walk down to the main strip and eating at a restaurant down there. As a couple we ended up paying around 10 euros per person more for a much better! The poolside activities which were ran by Kuba were great and he is a credit to this hotel! He made the time and effort to go round and speak to each person and try and involve them. He wasn’t pushy at all and no thanks meant exactly that. He was such a lovely well-mannered person and definitely made our stay more enjoyable. Between me and my partner we took part in a range of activities such as aqua fit and water polo and some new and exciting activities that we haven’t seen on holiday before such as towel folding and margarita making classes. The hotel always had something going on and will have something to suit everybody. As mentioned before due to the evening food not being to our taste we ate out most nights and so missed most of the evening entertainment as it was wrapping up as we were heading back for the night. The shows we did see which was a Tina Turner tribute and an evening quiz. Both great and what you would expect. Just great fun! All of the staff at the hotel were great. Everyone was polite and friendly. One minor frustration we did have was that we booked a taxi at reception as we had a trip planned. We were told the taxi was on its way and then waited outside. 20 minutes had passed and we went back in to check and were told that they still haven’t found a driver and as such we missed our trip! A little heads up from reception would have been nice or better communication. I also didn’t understand why I needed to give over my credit/debit card information at reception for them to keep on file? I have never had to do that in any of my previous trips in other resorts. I did find that a little odd. The hotel has 2 pools. The larger one being quite shallow and the smaller one being the deeper pool. Both are not heated and are refreshing to get into but on a hot day nothing beats that feeling so no issues here! Mosquitoes are rife here! Both me and my girlfriend got bit several times which isn’t pleasant. This doesn’t reflect on the hotel but I would seriously recommend bringing some form of repellent with you! You will need it. Overall we had a fantastic week stay here and would recommend it to others. I would say the grounds of this hotel are easily a 4 star but our standard room felt more like a 3 star. Breakfast was great, evening buffet not so great. Poolside activities were very good and evening entertainment catered for everyone.
