Great Hotel. I spent 7 days there and I couldn’t be happier. Great staff. Good food. Very confortable mattress. Good selection of drinks. Cocktails are fresh and vibrant. Hotel near to the beautiful playa del muro. I highly recommend this place.

Just returned from a 7 day break. Beautifully clean hotel, staff are so attentive and friendly. We were AI , food and drinks were perfect, such a variety. Only 2 slight niggles : 1. Sun lounger situation !! The 8 am rush was ridiculous plus sadly the metal ones aren’t very comfortable. If you are going in peak season there won’t be enough as strangely whilst the garden area is very picturesque , there were only 4 loungers there. We ventured down to the beach (which is beautiful) but you need to get there early to get a lounger too ! €15 for 2. 2. Food labelling - my 17 year old has a nut allergy and due to the limited labelling he restricted what he ate as he’s too shy to ask which is a shame. The Spa wellness is spotlessly clean and we took advantage of late check out by spending a couple of hours here. (Remain AI until 3pm on the day of your departure). Hired bikes for 1/2 day and cycled to the Natural Parc, worth the trip. Local buses are every 15 minutes and cost €3 to Alcudia / Peurto Pollença. Gym was ok. All in all though , 9.5/10.

Returned from the Rei del Med Palace and can confirm this is a really great little hotel, very clean, very well run, with a great selection of food and drink and helpful, friendly staff Stayed for a short 3 night break, check in was quick and effortless (was prepared for the tourist tax) and upon a later arrival at around 11.00pm, there was a ploughman's style food plate put up for us as well as the bar being open until midnight so could still grab a drink. had requested for the hotel to see if they could offer us a room upgrade as was our mini honeymoon break and they didn't disappoint! They kindly upgraded us to a suite room, top floor and it was lovely - mini bar topped up daily, tea and coffee, snacks, bottle of bubbly and a fantastic view of the pool and the lake in front of the hotel, was really appreciate of them doing this for us and having a pool view is worth it. Food was great, lots of choice, always lots available and plenty of time to eat. Servers during the meal times were quick, friendly and on point for drinks and service which was nice. Snack bar was great, nice selection during the day, something different each time and drinks were all branded which makes a nice change. Everyone in the hotel works so hard and you can see this by the cleanliness of the hotel especially in the communal areas such as reception and the bar area the wellness spa was great as well, had a massage which was nice and then used the changing rooms before leaving which were miles better than some hotels i have been too the hotel itself isn't very big, but this isn't a bad thing, it feels compact and neat and like everything is in easy reach unlike some sprawling holiday villages i have been too where you have cleared 10,000 steps before breakfast! there are a couple of small challenges... the hotels evening entertainment is very average, don't go expecting the west end and you'll be just fine, but i have seen better at others hotels but, those other hotels are much bigger and have much bigger commercial value so probably pull in better performers with higher rates of pay - its all relative, but manage your expectations Sunbeds are a little bit of challenge, doors open at 8am and you'll have to be queued up from 7.30am to get to the front and bag the one you want - but this is the same at every hotel, you have got to be in it to win it, there isnt a better way of doing it, so we just have to get on with it, it does mean that if you like a lay in, you will have a very slim choice of bed so the decision is yours! on our second night, the air con unit in our room broke and then leaked water like a tap down the wall and all over the floor, que me waking up at 3.30am to what sounded like a small tsunami and water everywhere - reception were great though, they moved us to another suite very quickly, got a maintenance man there at 9.00am to fix it and then gave us a late check out on the room until 2pm which was welcomed - in short, it wasn't their fault entirely (things break sometimes) but they rectified swiftly in the pool the hotel have floating bean bags - these are nice to sit on but there is only 2! so they are in high demand and usually when you want one someone is on it and they are on it for a while, a couple more would be welcome the 2 drink rule is antiquated, the plastic cups are so small, 4 sips later and you're getting up to get another drink, it seems daft and i think the hotel should operate with common sense on thine one - if one person comes over to order 10 beers then of course limit them, but 2 at a time is like pulling teeth! lastly the atmosphere was a little lacking in the day, it was very quiet (yes its adults only) but its almost a little too quiet sometimes where you feel like talking too loud is going to be heard by everyone in a 20m radius - in some ways it is the ultimate relax as if you just want to sleep, lay or sit and read an book then its ideal, but if you like a bit of atmosphere then you might struggle - they area few games during the week (water polo etc) and a DJ on one of the days and it just livens it all up and almost lifts the mood round the pool - one for the hotel to think about how they get a little more atmosphere in there. all in all a good little spot for a few nights of R&R, clean, tidy, friendly staff, nice pool, close to beach front and small shops if you want a walk out, good food, nice clean rooms and nice area
