After reading such bad reviews, we worried. But honestly did not need to worry. We have had a fabulous holiday. Stayed in Sol 1. Rooms small but we only slept in there. No issues with sunbeds. Staff amazing - kind and helpful. Room cleaned daily. Food is repetitive buts it’s an all inclusive - there was something for the whole family. Only negative, if any, is that due to my food allergy I struggled to eat - but this often with a fish allergy coming to Spain. The biggest thank you goes to the entertainment staff. Honestly bloody amazing. They worked so hard day and night to include kids and adults. Kids club was brilliant for our 7 year old and gave us adults a rest. The beach is literally minutes away and is just beautiful. We would 100% come back. Thank you Sol Palmanova

For context, we were two couples, aged 26-30 and stayed at the end of October for 5 nights. We are used to staying in 5* hotels that cost £1500 a week. We had decided we wanted a cheap all inclusive getaway and found this hotel for £500pp for 5 nights, private transfer, return flights, and all inclusive. Due to reading so many negative reviews prior to our holiday, we actually contacted our travel provider and enquired about cancelling our holiday. Looking back on it, we are thankful the travel provider said we couldn't cancel because we had a brilliant time. The negative reviews really do not paint an accurate picture of this hotel. The only thing I can think of is people paying peanuts but expecting luxury. Pros: - Price. Our trip cost £500 for 5 nights (We know the return flights were £180 on sky scanner) and we paid for a private transfer. Therefore you're looking at around £300 for 5 nights stay with all inclusive food and drink! - Location - Amazing location, only 20 minute transfer from airport. A 2 minute walk to the beach and that is not an exaggeration, literally only 2 minutes! Shops, bars and restaurants all walking distance. - Clean. Can't fault the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms. - Showers. Very good pressure, temperature and spacious. Could have stayed in the shower for ages. - Entertainment - Decent enough entertainment, we had a very good live band on our final night. Would have happily paid to watch them at a local venue. - Tokens for cups - Good system, means there are no tables with dirty cups, no glass means no smashed glass anywhere, can take cups/drinks up to your room. Cons: - Beds were very hard. It didn't stop us from sleeping as we'd been drinking and were tired but we didn't look forward to getting into a comfy bed and got out of bed the minute we woke up in the morning. - Food. Whilst it was of a good enough quality, it was repetitive. I guess you expect this at most all inclusive stays. However, it was very repetitive between lunch and dinner so we did end up eating out for a Sunday roast and a meal on the seafront for our final night to get away from the all inclusive. Breakfast was good though, although I don't think you can get breakfast wrong! - Lifts. Very small, take ages to arrive. We were on floor 7 and sometimes by the time we got to the bottom after stopping on every floor, we felt like we could pass out. - Watered down/weak alcohol. We didn't upgrade our all inclusive so the beer was amstel and the spirits were local knock off versions of the real thing. All four of us consumed what we'd consider a large volume of alcoholic drinks at the hotel and you never got the feeling that it contained alcohol. 2 pints at a local bar and I felt it more than 12 cups of amstel at the hotel! I suppose you could put this as a positive as we never woke up with a hangover or felt groggy. But in terms of value for money, I'd question if you're getting outstanding value on the all inclusive drinks if the alcoholic drinks are watered down. All in all, I'm not saying this hotel is amazing. It is definitely good value for money. If you come with an open mind and don't look for faults and issues, you will enjoy your holiday. Remember, you get what you pay for so despite me listing some cons above, we expected there to be some compromises from the hotel as that's why it is cheap to stay there. The location and price can't be beat so if we got a similar deal again, we would return.

“Bicycle to store”
Has anyone had experience with this hotel allowing cyclists to store their bikes inside their rooms? I’m asking because the hotel details don’t mention any “bicycle storage room.” ……………………………………..,,,………………………………………………………………………..
