We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we travelled with our 3 year old son and he loved it. Perfect for him with the slides and pools in the smaller section of the hotel. I used the spa quite often which is very clean and tidy, just don’t forget to buy a swim cap. Food is very good in the hotel, drinks were slightly disappointing not great taste on the house red wine and can be quite expensive. The water situation is also a bit silly with reusable glass jars @ €2.50 surely the hotel would benefit from refillable water tanks (if your trying to be more sustainable) especially when you can get water super cheap in the shops just outside the door. But I understand this is a way of the hotel making money. Room was to a good standard, not the cleanest but we wasn’t too bothered, aircon wasn’t great in the room, wasn’t freezing like we’ve had at other hotels, but wasn’t a big enough issue for us to complain. My partner left her new hoodie in the room to travel home in and the cleaners didn’t return it back to reception which was also a big dissapointment, we had friends in the hotel who left after us who tried to retrieve it but there was no sign of it. We would definitely come back to this hotel and certainly recommend it to anyone with a young family, lots going on in the evenings too.

We stayed with our children, aged 8 and 6. All staff were very kind, helpful, and went the extra mile to make our stay special. The quality of the food and facilities was very good. In particular, we felt that the staff and the environment of the hotel struck a very good balance between fun and serenity, and this is a really good achievement. We had a car with us and were able to park for free in a secure car park every day. We would definitely consider the Marsenses Rosa Del Mar again and would recommend it to families with children.

“Good hotel for families, room cleanliness was poor in the older rooms”

Overall a decent hotel in a good location to bars, restaurants and beach. Expect to drag your luggage from the main gate to the hotel when you arrive and leave. Overall a decent hotel in a good location to bars, restaurants and beach. Expect to drag your luggage from the main gate to the hotel when you arrive and leave. Hard work with kids and buggies in addition to cases. Staff were ok, certainly only 3star trained, nothing more. No additional courtesy or service on top of the basics. Hotel is kept clean in the main but the older room we stayed in was constantly dirty on the floors and kitchen area, we bought our own cleaning stuff to sort it. Ants were an issues on the balcony so have to be extra careful when the kids had any food. It’s well priced this hotel but you do get what you pay for. It’s not 4star in terms of service, it’s 3 at best but the price reflected this for us.
