My boyfriend and I stayed here, and it was a lovely hotel. The location is excellent, right next to a beautiful beach and some decent restaurants nearby. It’s also very close to bus routes, making it easy to get to Palma and C'an Pastilla using bus 35. The breakfast was nice, with a good selection of bread and options like eggs, beans, bacon, and tapas. I appreciated that the pool area wasn't too crowded, and we were always able to find a spot at any time of day. The room itself was nice, though small, as expected from other reviews. We stayed in room 314, a pleasant end room with a mini fridge, safe, and balcony. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeeping changed the bins, towels, and made the beds every day. Our only issues were that the safe stopped working twice, and for the first three nights, we had trouble with the key cards not working consistently. Despite this, the staff were very helpful and resolved the problems promptly. Although the rooftop bar was closed throughout our stay, there is a bar inside that serves the same food and drinks. Overall, a great hotel.

Although Portofino is a little old fashioned I couldn't fault the service and cleanliness. We had everything we needed in the room, including a mini fridge, air conditioning, and a hairdryer. Although Portofino is a little old fashioned I couldn't fault the service and cleanliness. We had everything we needed in the room, including a mini fridge, air conditioning, and a hairdryer. The beds were comfy and the shower was powerful. We just stayed one night but the pool area looked good, and we enjoyed our breakfast.

“Just too loud”

Very nice and accommodating staff, clean and simple room, nice property ... I would have given it a much higher rating but I have to warn fellow travelers about the noise. Very nice and accommodating staff, clean and simple room, nice property ... I would have given it a much higher rating but I have to warn fellow travelers about the noise. The hotel is like an echo chamber and you can hear things in the hallway and through the stairwell, as well as every footstep above. To make it worse, the other patrons were not considerate and were loud in the hallway and laughing and banging on a door at 2am. If I didn't need to hear my alarm, I would have put in earplugs. Maybe the hotel could put a sound-machine in every room.
