This was our 4th time to stay here and I'll have to say it ticks every box for us. Practically in the town centre, yet on a tree lined quiet road, a selection a 3 pools, super breakfast and you can eat inside or outside plus really helpful staff . I noticed that a lot of the staff have been there since our first visit and that's always a good sign. The pool area is excellent, loads of different ways to sit out including cabanas. The barman at the pool is one of the best ambassadors for the hotel, courteous and very good at making a Pina Colada!! There is even a customer relations person to answer any questions or attend to any requests. The outside drinking/eating area on the ground floor is a lovely way to have lunch or a snack or a glass of wine and people watch. We have already booked it for 2025 .

Having stayed at nearby Nakar hotel twice before as a couple we decided to bring the children to Palma and have a change of hotel. We chose the Saratoga based on its location, good reviews and that it had a heated pool open in December. We was very impressed with the reception area on arrival, my daughter loved the refreshing cucumber water and warm fire area to sit in reception. We arrived early and went out to the park with our children and the hotel notified us when our room was ready. Our room was a really good size for a family of 4 overlooking the pool and outdoor area. Great to have a bath for the children. The room temperature for us was a little too warm. We used the pool both days which my daughter really loved as she could touch the bottom too. The hotel provide pool towels in your room. We had drinks from the hotel restaurant next door and room service one evening. The hotel has a lovely area on the rooftop. Staff we met were always helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was calm and inviting, never an issue to get a table and a great assortment from pastries, fruit, cereal, breads, cold cuts to hot options. It was however the only disappointment for us that the hot breakfast was just luke warm, the bacon was a little too fatty and not crispy or hot, the hash browns were luke warm and soft, the scrambled egg cold. On the second morning I chose a fresh omelette but this for my personal taste was undercooked and wet and runny. I would stay at the hotel again but maybe chose room only and eat breakfast out.

“Great location, terrible beds”

The beds were very uncomfortable, all of us slept really badly. The sofa bed had plastic / pleather peeling off the back / top of it. The bathroom was clean, the room had a nice view of the pool. The beds were very uncomfortable, all of us slept really badly. The sofa bed had plastic / pleather peeling off the back / top of it. The bathroom was clean, the room had a nice view of the pool. The pools were really nice. The breakfast was average at best, the kids thought it was nice, I ate somewhere else! Make of that what you will. The hotel is in an amazing location and the staff were helpful and polite.
