I stayed for 9 nights with my daughter in June. We had a room on the 9th floor with a view towards Palma. The balcony was on an angle so little or no sun and the room was very warm, I did ask the reception to fix the air conditioning as there was no ability to adjust it yourself, it did improve. The room itself was very clean and had all adequate amenities for a comfortable stay. We did book the vip experience which was well worth it, especially as the hotel was full. Breakfast was served at the poor bar with incredible views. Sophia our waitress had our coffee order on the table as we were sitting down, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was excellent. We used the sun loungers in the VIP section and were very well looked after by Valentina with towels, water and drinks during the day. We also used the gym which is well kitted out and looks out over the sea. We did not eat in the hotel in the evenings as the number 4 bus stop is right outside the door and brings you to the centre of Palma, in about half an hour, which is full of fantastic restaurants. We found all the staff extremely courteous and friendly, especially Sophia and Valentina. We would recommend this hotel and will return. Only issue was the taxi to the airport was delayed (for both ourselves and friends another day) so give yourself plenty of time as the airport is extremely busy

Where to begin?…… On our first night it became apparent that the AC could not be turned lower than 20 degrees (and in the heat of summer I assure you with the baking sun outside this is not cool). The room itself was clean with a nice view, however with the angle the balcony was at, it did not catch one ray of sunlight. The room was divided in two by a glass wall that could be pulled across (which weighed about 50kg and quite the workout when trying to go to the bathroom at 3am). Our first morning we woke at 7 am to screaming kids and adults going for breakfast in the restaurant (right beside our room). We waited another night to see if the noise had been a once off, but once again we were woken up at the crack of dawn. Not to mention both nights we were kept up by people talking on the balconies next to us (to no fault of our balcony neighbours who were only having a quiet drink) but the balcony doors may as well be made with cling film. We explained this to reception who told us they couldn’t do anything for that night, but assured us the problem could be resolved when rooms freed up the following day. When we returned the next morning we were told by a receptionist that nothing could be done. Another thing I would note about this hotel is the light on either side of the bed that can’t be switched off. If you enjoy UV light piercing your eyelids at night, then maybe this hotel is for you. Another bizarre feature of this hotel is the cordoned off VIP areas (a money making racket). These cordoned off areas were sun-beds (no fancier than any others) but with a slightly nicer view. I’m glad to say that no one was foolish enough to purchase a “VIP Zone”, meaning sun-beds were left empty while the rest of the pools sun-beds were packed.

The hotel is nice but would not recommend with young children. It is very noisy as the walls are very thin and there is live entertainment until late at night which we could hear very loudly in our room. The pool has no shade and no shallow end or kids pool. The indoor pool has restricted hours for children. There is a small playroom but the lights are off half the time. The restaurant is decent but it opens quite late for children's eating times so be prepared to have a few bits in your room. It doesn't explicitly say it's an adults only hotel but I think it should. If our family was only adults I'm sure we would have enjoyed it more as the hotel was nice, staff were great, food was decent.
