Excellent hotel can’t understand the negative comments spotlessly clean comfortable room. All the staff were friendly and made you feel welcome especially Toni and Chris. Breakfast was excellent something for everyone evening meal was hit and miss but again always found something to eat. Communal areas were bright and modern swimming pool excellent though could do with parasols had a lovely area to sit out and eat or just have a drink in the evening. The Comodoro is one of the original hotels in Palma Nova so may look dated don’t be put off it has the best position of all the hotels and I have stayed in them all and will definitely be back

“Perfect location!”

Close enough to Magaluf for the crazy night life but just enough away for a classier evening in Palma Nova too! Close enough to Magaluf for the crazy night life but just enough away for a classier evening in Palma Nova too! This hotel is literally perfectly placed, we feel like we hit the jackpot with the location as it’s so easy to get it wrong when Magaluf is involved! This hotel really isn’t stag do/hen party vibes, it’s a mixed bag of couples, families, etc. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms are quite modern. We paid extra to upgrade to the chill out room. While the room itself is lovely, and having direct access to the VIP floor, there are a few niggles with this. You don’t get a private balcony (the windows are mirrored so you can see out from your room but can’t see in from outside) whilst the VIP area is open (11am-6pm), but the bonus is having direct access to your room for using the toilet, getting a drink or snacks from your room. There isn’t a bar upstairs, it’s down the stairs where the pool is. It’s supposed to be adults only in the VIP area, yet people kept bringing kids up and having them playing in the jacuzzi, lifeguard wasn’t saying anything across multiple days. Pretty annoying when you’ve paid extra to have an adult only area as you’re free from your own kids! Also, only one jacuzzi in use currently, and was shut for almost a whole day for cleaning, which meant that there wasn’t any to use. The food is okay, there was less selection during the week, weekends seem to have more available, not sure if it’s just because the hotel is busier. I think your standard chicken nugget and chips eating British child would struggle to eat well here though. The hotel itself is super clean and really nice in communal areas. The view is absolutely beautiful too. There’s just a few little niggles stopping me giving this 5 stars, because I absolutely would come back here. Mainly down to the lack of keeping kids off the VIP deck, also there doesn’t seem to be a system over who gets to use that so makes paying more seem a little pointless? Also, the bathroom door being a sliding glass door just wasn’t ideal. It’s quite clunky and noisy, and then there’s no lock. The light switch is inside the bathroom as well, so if you go to the toilet through the night, it’s really hard to navigate! (That is person specific though!) The balcony gate didn’t lock also and kept blowing open randomly. Overall, lovely stay :)

Arrived late, was greeted with a frozen dinner, fruit and cakes, did not eat the dinner. We were on the 5th floor, what a view from the balcony, to die for, the beds were comfy, pillows nice and soft, coffee and tea making facilities, the room was very dated, we had a flood on the floor from air con, sink was so small in depth it was blocking all the time, the shower was a problem because when it was set at a temperature it would then get scalding hot. The hotel was spotless and really nice. Because there was no parasols difficult to lie in the hot sun. The food was not good very little choice of meats only chicken wings, (improved on our last day) there was only a knife and fork on the table difficult to get any spoons. Sprouts, broccoli for breakfast. It is a small hotel, THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT COULD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU. Would not be returning unless rooms were upgraded.1
