Just returned from this hotel in Palmanova with my Mum. What a fabulous little hotel a short walk from the beaches and shops. We will definitely return as we found it to be more like a small 4 star hotel with the quality of the rooms and the food was great, lots and lots of choice and better quality than an average 3 star hotel. Also everything as breakfast that you could possibly want all freshly made and cooked fresh. You can even get a bottle of their house wine for 7.5 Euros which is pleasant. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a budget get away, nicely positioned, lovely and clean. At the beginning of October is was very quiet but like everywhere in High Season it could be a bit noisy although the hotel has strict rules about what is not acceptable which we liked. Reception staff lovely, all speak perfect English and very helpful. Paola the lovely lady Manager on duty was lovely and friendly as was the man running the bar. Can't wait to go back! Well done Vistanova! Sandie and Dawn Lavers

Lovely hotel, very welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with all you need for your stay. Food was lovely, buffet style but loads to choose from. Lovely clean swimming pool and sunbathing area. Would definitely stay again.

I’m writing this review while lazing round the pool. Still got 2 days left but thought I would write it whilst it’s all fresh in my mind. 1st. Check in was quick and easy. Got here early afternoon was given key straight away. 2. Rooms clean and were cleaned every day with fresh towels also, shower was fantastic. Bit noisy from rooms next door as we getting on in years next to young ones not good but they all went out about 1am so did manage to get to sleep, like I said though they on holiday too just enjoying there selves. The strip wasn’t to bad, yeah bit loud at times but again people enjoying there holidays. 3. The food - we did breakfast not half board but decided one night to try the evening meal, omg it was absolutely lovely so we do it every night now and pay 14 euros for a buffet meal well worth the money I can tell you. The breakfast good too. I really don’t know what people on about if they complain there’s plenty of choice both breakfast and dinner. You can get sunbed easy no issues at all All In all I recommend this hotel. As I say got 2 more days yet so anything bad and I shall update my review.

I stayed in Room 520 in late October 2024. Good price and booked through TUI but there are a couple of main points which need to be raised as a negative... There were at least 2 sizeable holes in the ceiling above the shower. I've also read another review where the ceiling fell down on someone whilst having a shower in another room so this is potentially very dangerous! The plumbing system is is clearly an issue because parts of the ceiling above the shower looked like they had been repaired before and put back together in a random way with different bits of material lodged in the corner. The plumbing and water noises from other rooms could be heard very loudly coming down some channel system of pipes somewhere behind the bathroom walls. However the actual shower when used always had hot water available and appeared to work fine. All the things you would normally expect to be included in a room like a hair dryer, iron etc were not but this wasn't an issue to me personally. The safe is only available for an extra charge which was annoying. Towards the end of my stay, there was an ant infestation in the bathroom. I never had any food or anything else in the room to attract these either. The half board experience and food in the hotel on the whole was quite good but they do not provide the water dispenser machine at dinner time as a method to make money at the bar. During breakfast there are hot and cold drinks available including a water dispenser but this is emptied at dinner time and I was told that only paid for bottled water was available rather than tap water. This makes no sense as there was a water dispenser always available at breakfast. It's now illegal in Mallorca to not provide free tap water in a restaurant and TUI had to make contact with the hotel about this. They tried to make the excuse that the tap water isn't drinkable but they provide it in the morning (maybe filtered somehow in the dispenser) but all guests were of the opinion that it was taken away at dinner time so that guests are forced to buy other drinks. Aside from the negatives, the hotel is in a central location which allows easy walking to Magaluf, Palma Nova and the the beach/coastline. The hotel is a good price (in off season anyway). The pool area was very spacious (in off season) and had comfy beds where you could dip your feet to cool off in a shallow area so that was a nice touch. Room 520's balcony looked out on to the Magaluf/strip area but beyond that were mountains and a partial sea view to one side. So if you looked past the immediate unpleasant view then you could see nice scenery and a nice view of the sea looking towards Palma Nova. I found the beds to be comfy enough. The room appeared clean enough. The food was nice and a pleasant surprise. The hotel room itself was pleasant enough on the surface but the bathroom ceiling and the hotel's plumbing clearly need some serious repair because it could prove to be dangerous.

I arrive at the hotel quite late in the evening. The young man at the reception desk welcomed me and was very polite. I was told my room was on the second floor facing the pool side. The two lifts are just at the side of the restaurant bit. They are small in side and but you can manage to fit 4 may be 5 people in. I was very disappointed about my room. As the first two days I had been infested with ants. I told receptionist the first morning and she was very apologetic about it and I sent them a picture of them too. She said she would send someone up to sort it out. The second day I still had them, they were even in my bed at one point. Yet again I told them. The same lady even asked me if I have food in my room. I was not happy she even asked me this. As I noticed them straightaway when I entered the room. I told her no and she said ok w I’ll send someone up straight away. I told her thank you and when to get breakfast. When I was on my way back up, they as a man spaying the can ever were. Lucky this resolved it but still had the odd few. I feel like the rooms definitely could do with an upgrade or something. Definitely a bit of colour or pictures up on the walls. The single rooms are definitely small. They are very basic, would be nice to have the option to have a fridge too. The bathrooms are small and the tilled ceiling could do with replacing. As there is holes and looks like rust on them. They have just pained over them at some point and it’s all chipping away. The shower door could do with some adjustment too as water would flood the floor when taking the shower. On the plus side the shower is pretty good. The food at breakfast time was pretty decent, good variety for hot and cold foods. With options of juice and tea n coffee too. The evening meal was very hit and miss. Some days it was cold and bland. And some days had decent options to choose from. The drinks you had to pay for, this included water. Which I think would be at least complementary. If you wanted to order from the bar, you had to ask someone in the restaurant to come up. To be honest the bar was normally pretty much empty. And they drinks are a little pricey too. Just for a small coke was 3.50. And I over hear one person got charged 22.50 for just a single jack Daniel’s and a Smirnoff ice. It’s each to their own if you want to pay that much but me personally I wouldn’t. There is plenty of shops around and always something for someone to do, including for the little ones. You are only 5mins walk from the strip and to both beaches. It is a noisy hotel and the walls are definitely paper thin. I could even hear next rooms tv. And yes you will get the ones coming back from the nights out but that’s what happens when you are in party central. Only thing that was affecting me was the staff outside the pool area making noises and talking and laughing loudly. Over all I think this hotel was just not for me. Yeah I had a lovely time but that’s was mostly out of the hotel. So I’m sorry to say I will not be booking this hotel again.
