I’ve been to Magaluf many times and I always wanted to go to this hotel but unfortunately they were always fully booked the dates I needed. On this trip I arrived in Magaluf to a different hotel I booked and I didn’t like it when we arrived so I decide to call Martinique to see if they have an apartment available and for my luck they had. Sol the girl I spoke to on the phone was very nice and very friendly. I arrive in the hotel and the Spanish guy in the reception was so so nice. He showed me the standard room and the apartments, I was staying for 2 weeks so I decide to take the apartment for more space. I got the breakfast included and I enjoyed it very much with plenty of choices.. All I can say is the hotel is AMAZING. All the staff, cleaners ladies etc were very friendly. The hotel is very clean and has good air conditioning, the beds are comfortable and nice big balcony’s! The vibe around the pool is nice.. I already booked for next month for another 2 weeks and I can’t wait.

After waiting two years to get us all together, finally worked out and got three rooms at the Martinique. So much room for us each, even though three of us sharing in two of the rooms. Smelled nice, really clean and looked pretty newly done. We got half board package, breakfasts are great, just had a couple of small plates with drinks on the beach late lunch. Found some nice places to eat along the beach front, all open air some with music and always jugs of sangria. Did stay around the hotel pool a couple of down days,,,,,,too much of a good night, nice fun entertainment. Have to comment that for what we paid this holiday was crackin. Didn’t get much beauty sleep, but did get a wicked tan.

“Youngsters only hotel!!!”

AGE - Do NOT book if you are over the age of 23! It is completely full of youngsters having the best time of their lives. AGE - Do NOT book if you are over the age of 23! It is completely full of youngsters having the best time of their lives. And I know this because they scream down the corridors every night at 6am and play loud music on the balcony with their smuggled in guests. It’s almost as if they think there are no other guests in the hotel and to be honest, I was slightly jealous but but sadly being older it’s not really how I want to be kept awake. If I had known this was for youngsters I would not have booked and I would have happily let them all get on with it. It literally is perfect for any teenagers wanting to go magaluf because it’s close to the strip and beach and obviously there are lots of other youngsters to make friends with. My 2 teenage girls had a great time! Apart from the food, so that would put them off staying here again, even though it was a perfect location FOOD- The food is not good. It looks nice but doesn’t taste nice, so my youngest daughter hardly ate the whole holiday at the hotel because there was barely anything she could stomach. EXPENSIVE- I found it very expensive there and you need a deposit, in cash, for each cup that you use so if you don’t have €1 you don’t get your drink. SWIMMING POOL - lovely! But can be cold. The lifeguards are very strict!, you are not allowed to bring in, even a bottle of Coke from outside as they will approach you and tell you to put it away even though you bought it from the on-site supermarket!! You can only bring in bottled water. So basically you have to buy your drinks only from the beach bar or in the hotel bar, which cost of fortune. Outside food is allowed in the rooms though. One life guard even confiscated a speaker off of a group of youngsters playing the music a bit too loud due to a miscommunication. So a little bit over the top, I think. SUNBEDS- plenty of Sunbeds to go around, so no need for early reserving, I think this is because a lot of guest like to sleep due to their late night shenanigans, so lucky for me.!! There were some lovely double sunbeds (for hire) situated on the side of the pool but no one hired them (I imagine due to them being expensive) but took up a lot of the poolside area which I think is just unnecessary STAFF- I actually thought they were really pleasant and friendly and they could speak English very well!! ENTERTAINMENT- ZERO! Absolutely nothing to do of an evening. There is no social area to sit and enjoy a drink, but luckily enough there are lots of bars located close by.
