We 2 dads (50's) & 2 lads (18) have just returned from a 4 day break here. I picked the hotel on the good reviews and tbh it outscored them really. A great hotel for the money and the food choices at every meal was brilliant, we went AI so had the 3 meals and also pool snack bar to choose from. The alcohol at meals,San Miguel & red,rose& white was fine and 2 of the 4 nights we were offered a glass of cava when entering the restaurant. As previously said the bar prices were heavily reduced and measures are doubles at least. Balcony rooms at the front with sea views,a decent size and the bathroom was modern with a good powerful hot shower. Not a problem for sunbeds around the pool which was Very cold but was a problem if you actually swam in it which I did every day. The only negative I could say is that the gym is totally rubbish. Every bit of cardio was either out of order or didn't work properly there is 1 dual pulley machine with only 2 handle attachments and a rack of dumbells the heaviest being 22kg and 1 adjustable bench. The gym is an important part of our lifestyle for 3 of the 4 of us and was a big letdown. Location is up an incline which did prove a bit of a problem for both of us oldies but we had been out drinking with our lads in the bars in Magaluf and we were worse for wear. ( should have known better really but trying to show the young un's how it's done). Unfortunately 1 of sons had his iPhone stolen from him in Magaluf the 1st night it seems a regular occurrence with not a great deal being done about it. Daniel on reception was very helpful the next morning with some wise words of what to do on a night out in Maga. He also gave us the address of the local police station which is a 5min drive in a taxi. They were totally uninterested in the incident and are aware of it happening throughout the season with little they can or want to do about it. That aside great hotel nice bit of sunshine & showers and to much drinking 🍸 and I would highly recommend..

“An incredible hotel, which just keeps getting better!”

We have just returned from another fabulous stay at The AluaSun Torrenova. We have been visiting the Island of Majorca for 23 years and have always chosen our hotels based mainly on price and reviews. Our thinking as long as it is clean and in our price range then it will work for us. This thinking however changed three years ago when we discovered the AluaSun Torrenova - staying by chance due to the hotel we had booked double booking us. When we arrived three years ago and to our most recent visit the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and at home - nothing is to much trouble for them and they are genuinely invested in making your stay the best it could possibly be. Fast forward to our most recent visit and the hotel in our opinion just keeps getting better. This year we have visited many times and each time can see developments in what is being offered. There is now live music twice a week around the swimming pool, excellent singers who really add a great holiday vibe. I wish we had stayed longer as the vision for Halloween looks amazing. Food is great and plentiful. The AI drink rule is no surprise and is well published on websites before booking - this is not the hotels doing but a local government initiative. Alcohol drinks can be purchased at a cheaper rate. There is something to do day and night and the entertainments team work tirelessly, watching them move from using different languages to ensure everyone is included is absolutely amazing. Their energy and enthusiasm and ability to include everyone really is heartwarming to see. Rooms are clean and well maintained. We stayed this time in a suite which was big enough for us as a family. Lovely view of the pool area. For us it is the staff that sit at the centre of our experience with this hotel - every single member of staff and I mean every member works so very hard always with a smile and always willing to help and go above and beyond. Jose, Daniel and the reception team welcome you with open arms, check in is smooth and there is always someone on hand 24 hours a day should you need them. Management - Javi and Simon - are visible at all times, again checking on guests to make sure everything is going well with your stay. Bar and restaurant staff - Sonia, Ana, Tomaz and team honestly do not stop, meals/food/soft drinks are available throughout the day served with a smile. What can I say about The Entertainments Team headed up by the amazing Sally, alongside Andres, Leyre and Judith. Honestly what a team! There is so much happening for adults and children alike, you simply can’t fault it. There is a huge board in main reception showing the daily and evening activities, alongside these main events there always seems to be something happening which you can take part in, if you wish. This level of entertainment continues all day well in to the evening with a kids mini disco, followed by games or live entertainment. You can see the genuine love Sally has for her job and this is reflected within her team which radiates to all of the guests in the experiences they are provided with. Overall, and I am sure you can see from reading my review this hotel is absolutely fantastic. For us it feels like coming home and we hope to continue to visit for many years to come. I read a lot of the reviews when travelling so felt it important to write this one and if you have gotten to the end well done 🤣 my advice to anyone staying here is treat people how you wish to be treated if you aren’t sure of something ask, if you have a problem reach out, the staff here genuinely want you to have a great stay. “Fun, family friendly hotel”

I have just got back from 3 nights here with my daughter who's 11. We had an amazing time at this hotel. It is conveniently located to get to lots of places, you can walk for 5-10 mins and arrive at Magaluf beach which is truly beautiful. I have just got back from 3 nights here with my daughter who's 11. We had an amazing time at this hotel. It is conveniently located to get to lots of places, you can walk for 5-10 mins and arrive at Magaluf beach which is truly beautiful. The sea was so clear we could see fish swimming at our feet. There is also a beach more local and there was buses to Palma and Santa Ponsa within a 10 minute walk to the stop and they are easy to use and regular service. There are 3 pools, one deeper one, a shallow one and then one with the kids slides. There was music playing by the pool with a mix of genres and the entertainment team were amazing. They were so energised doing activities with the kids and then would do random ones with adults like a beer pong type of game and one where you had to guess how many pages were in the book and the closest won a cocktail. I didn't mind that alcoholic drinks were only at meal times as I don't drink much and you could pay a discounted price for them during the day so didn't cost much. You could also get slushes and some ice creams/ lollies as well as some basic food like burgers and chips from the snack bar. The restaurant had so many options and there was a chocolate fountain on Thursday which my daughter loved. They also had prosecco glasses on arrival to dinner on Thursday too. We only went to the 9:30pm entertainment once and saw 3 South African ladies singing who were great, we both really enjoyed that. From about 8:40pm the entertainment team do some dances with the younger children for about 20 mins which is also great. The room was clean and the beds were comfy with lots of space. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely recommended it.

4th time at the Aluasun and always have a lovely time for my girlfriends birthday with complimentary bubbly.
