Firstly the area of Arenal is not picturesque however if like us you just lie at the pool and only go out at night it is absolutely fine. Firstly the area of Arenal is not picturesque however if like us you just lie at the pool and only go out at night it is absolutely fine. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms were spacious and the staff were nice. The all inclusive buffet was surprisingly really good. The drinks are 3 wines or beers at lunch and dinner but not great so we didn’t actually use ours. Sadly, our air conditioning was not working very well and upon asking other guests in the hotel theirs was also not working. Luckily the weather cooled down after the 3rd day so we were able to finally get some sleep without being woken up by sweat dripping down our heads. Our room also had a minor ant problem where they would come out of the gaps between the skirting boards. Our balcony door also did not lock and could be pushed open from the outside which is a security issue. The rooftop pool and bar is a stunning area but it only opens at 7pm which i feel is a waste of such a lovely area. Overall, this hotel is a great budget stay if you’re young and looking for some great nightlife or older and just looking to relax.

“Contemplating”

Trip is coming up , we booked this without reading all the reviews now wondering if we should change hotels the pictures look inviting but then reading about broken down buildings bad service rooms are bad I know we should judge but almost all reviews are bad Someone help advice pls change or no
