the hotel is in a great location very clean, food not too bad staff very helpful entertainment a bit hit and miss would certainly come back again at a later date liked the fact that the beach is really close and easy to get into the water all inall a very enjoyable experience

We have just returned from a wonderful three week holiday at this fabulous hotel. I emailed the hotel prior to departure and requested high floor rooms near our friends (who were on a separate booking) - the hotel came up trumps, giving us rooms 430 and 436 - note that these rooms are poolside and behind the trees on the lefthand side which can be seen in photos. On the poolside, facing the nature reserve there are no balcony lights - we brought a small, rechargeable camping light with us. Our package included breakfast and dinner and although the menu repeated itself weekly we never felt the need to eat offsite as there was enough choice. The food was kept topped up right until close of service and was the hottest we've ever encountered in a buffet. The hotels greatest asset is its staff, especially Karan who seems to work 24 hours a day both on reception and waitressing. All the staff are incredibly smartly dressed and the service especially at lunch time in the café ridiculously quick - the waiter takes your order on his phone, by the time he's just left the table someone tuns up with cutlery swiftly followed by someone else with drinks and then food - a very slick system. The prices for food and drinks in the hotel, we felt, were very reasonable, house wine 11.30 Euro a bottle, lunch for four people - 2 pints, large water, 2 very large ham and cheese baguetts (which were shared) 25 Euro. The evening entertainment was the most part very enjoyable but if you wanted to sit outside was sometimes spoilt by live music from the bar next door. David, the entertainments guy was like the Duracell Bunny and even managed to make Bingo interesting when you weren't playing! Sunbeds on the beach are 18 Euro a set with an additional 4 Euro for cushions. Sunbeds in the hotel are free and I think providing you go down before 10.00 you should get some. The beach bar looks very nice but was a fair bit more expensive than the hotel outside area where you sit virtually on the beach. We enjoyed rides on the Ting Ting Train (4.50 Euro one trip, not hop on hop off). The walk along the prom into Can Picafort, about 20 minutes, was very pleasant with a lovely atmosphere in the evening. We last stayed in Can Picafort 54 years ago and were glad we chose to be a little bit outside the town in Son Baulo as it felt a lot more relaxed, the small group of shops, bars etc were more than adequate. A most impressive, professionally run hotel. We hope to return next year.

Went to this hotel after our cruise as it's part of our cruise and stay. Reception staff very friendly,makes a difference having an British person working behind the reception desk. Check in very easy. Rooms cleaned every day apart a Monday,day off which we didn't mind. We didn't get our room cleaned every day our choice but we did get towels. When they did clean our rooms they forgot to close our patio doors. Air condition free, didn't like we had to pay 38 euro's for a safe. Breakfast and evening dinner not up to much. We were half board and don't like that at dinner time we had to pay for water,tea and coffee. Pool area is good Davey the entertainment guy is fantastic. Evening entertainment good especially the bingo 5 euro's for a strip and you can win up to 400 euro's for a house. Hotel close to a beach but not private you have to pay 18 euro's per day for two beds. The beach is fantastic only a short walk from the hotel. Location of hotel is very quite it's about 30 minutes walk to the main part of Can Pickafort, there is a small train from the hotel 4.50 euro's return per person. Taxis are 6 euros. Overall can't fault the hotel but the food let's it down and paying for water tea and coffee at dinner time. Andy
