Such a great experience at this hotel. It’s situated right on the beach, but has beautiful pools for relaxation. Also just a short walk to the shops and many restaurants. The staff here could not have been more helpful. All smiles & eager to help make your holiday special! The buffet breakfast was amazing, so much choice and very fresh. Also loved the spa, sauna, ice bath & massage! To be honest it exceeded all of my expectations 🩷

“One week relaxing visit in Mallorca”

Hotel is amazing for traveling solo. Food very good. Service no question asked - perfect! Hotel got nice spa - very enjoy and access to the beach. Not far away from Can Picafort town centre. Overall highly recommend and defenetlly come in back.

Really enjoyable stay in Can Picafort. We visited as a family of 5. Booked a 2 bed apartment. We rented a car and drove the 45 mins from Palma - parked in the small hotel car park with no issue. Really enjoyable stay in Can Picafort. We visited as a family of 5. Booked a 2 bed apartment. We rented a car and drove the 45 mins from Palma - parked in the small hotel car park with no issue. The apartment was super - the 2 beds are in a small block behind the main complex. 2 big double rooms - both en-suite. Sofa bed in the living room - 3 balcony’s and loads of wardrobe space. There is also a small pool and loungers for this apartment block which the kids loved. Kitchenette has a toaster, kettle, microwave, 2 ring electric hob, fridge. Pros - Super apartment with air con and WiFi - Short walk to the start of the promenade - prom is 2.5k. Great location - Large main pool plus added bonus of small apartment block pool - Very close to the beach - Beach towels provided free of charge - Washer and dryer onsite (fee) - Supermarket nearly and small onsite shop - Reception staff were helpful - Lovely dessert buffet Cons - Apartment needed a little tlc e.g. shower door in one en-suite was broken and could not be closed. Small issue given the apartment was great overall - but I am a bit baffled the hotel has not replaced the door given it’s clearly broken - No iron/ironing board - The main pool is deep and not heated, 2 metres in the centre - so need to be careful with kids. There is a separate shallow kids pool though - Food was okay - reasonable for buffet dinner - nothing special so glad we did not go half board - Before visiting I emailed the customer twice in English and they replied in German, which was odd (we did feel a bit like the odd ones out, vast majority of guests were German) - Kids entertainment not great - very little going on during the day. Our youngest enjoyed the kids disco in the evening Overall we had a great stay and weather was perfect Would return.

So the good stuff first …. Rooms are nice , we had a side sea view room , 3rd Floor . Only got sun early morning , our room overlooked the entrance path to the hotel and quite chilly in the evening when we would normally want to sit out so we didn’t bother . The cleaners are fabulous , they rooms are spotlessly cleaned and it was lovely to come back to a clean and tidy room after a day out . Most of the staff are friendly , not overly friendly but will appreciate a greeting or a thank you , they are far too busy for conversation though . Unfortunately we saw a lot of rude people , especially at breakfast speaking down to the staff, no excuse for it. Reception again very busy at times . Not over friendly but do smile as you approach them . We found them pleasant enough . No problems at all . The pool area is nice , lots of different pools , the first week we stayed there were a lot of children, I think German school trips so the place was loud with kids everywhere, the rest of our stay was very quiet when they left . We stuck to the pool nearest the seafront as it was quieter The usual suspects saved beds , but up until 12 there were beds to be found if you weren’t fussy as to where you were . It was end May/June though so I would imagine high season may be different . They rope off the pool before 9 which was good. Although the first few days we were there in May they didn’t do this so I think it’s from June onwards. Stops the early up at dawn lot putting down towels . If you love the beach , there is a bridge that goes over the small area of waste land that separates the hotel from the beach . We had fun watching all the posers/social media lot taking photos on the beach , pouting and posing ….. oh to be young again . The not so great parts which is why we wouldn’t return ….. We normally stay at the EIX in Alcúdia , this is so different besides being of the same chain . We found the hotel very big and not as friendly . Everything was ran like clockwork , a bit too perfect for us . No bar staff passing the time in between serving you , they were all always doing ‘something’ and far too busy for chit chat . The breakfast was lovely , and we always found something nice to eat but we did find because the Hotel was predominately German this was what it catered for . Plenty of Salami , vegetables, pickles , weird cheeses , etc . Not a problem for us . The main reason we didn’t really have a great time was the lack of anyone to talk to , we did not see or meet one British person at the hotel the whole 10 days we were there . Sometimes it’s just nice to say hello at least , maybe get some advice, decent restaurants etc , but as husband and myself were on our own , although after 30 years we do still talk to each other , it’s nice to say hi to others and we found the people staying at the hotel not the most friendly bunch . I intended on staying mostly at the beach which is one of the reasons I chose this hotel but the price of 2 sunbeds and an umbrella was nearly 20 euros a day . So we ended up going only once . Not that we couldn’t afford it but husband wouldn’t pay it on principle . Would have stuck nearly £200 euros on to our spending money if we had visited daily which is what we normally would have done. The main resort by the harbour is a 5-15 min walk which was pleasant . In all it was a nice break for us and if it had been a short holiday 7 days it would of been ok , but the 10 days dragged on , as the entertainment was awful, we found a couple of restaurants we liked within walking distance but in the main the places we went to were not as friendly as neighbouring Alcudia or Pollensa . We visit Majorca at least once a year , but after this visit , we are now going to look elsewhere as prices have gone up, atmosphere not as good as it used to be.
