We just returned from a 9 night stay as a family and were very impressed with the hotel. However, we arrived shortly after midnight and were told there was no food or drinks available except for a bottle of water in our fridge (later to find out we should have been directed to the restaurant for snacks and beverages). However, when we raised this issue on our on line questionnaire, we were offered an extra night at the A La Carte restaurant to compensate. Fabulous customer service from the team! We were also not informed about access to pool towels or the safe. We asked to upgrade our room on arrival which was dealt with quickly and efficiently and we were escorted to the room by the receptionist to check it was satisfactory, again this was exceptional service. The room was great, spacious, clean with a good sized balcony. Some maintenance was required in the shower area as there was a really big crack in the tiles. We did not raise this as an issue at the time as were were pleased with our room in all other ways including location and did not want to move! Pools lovely, plenty of beds and umbrellas and no crazy morning rush to reserve sun beds. We stayed most of the time at the adult pool as it was quieter and walked down to the kids pools when in need of a change. My one issue was the wet bubble, it was crazy busy, kids pushing and shoving and not policed by the lifeguards, my son had an accident on there which resulted in a bad nose bleed, and was certainly not the first. Food in the buffet was good, lots of choice and above average quality. The pool bar great during the day for made to order lunches and snacks. We ate at the a la carte restaurant twice. First time was amazing, second time fell a little short, maybe it was a different chef. Drinks service was a little slow at the main bar in the evening. Although the table service was fantastic, if you actually wanted to order at the bar it was a long wait, particularly for cocktails. Extra staff would be a good idea, also at the pool bar between 5 and 6 as it was the only available bar at that time and usually only one server. Evening entertainment was good, the usual mini disco with infuriatingly catchy tunes and a different show each night. A major hit for my son was the nightly Kahoot quiz. Had a really good stay, would definitely recommend for other families. A good location, just a short walk to the sea front and the main shop should you feel you need to leave the hotel at all.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 5 (age range 4-72 years old), in July 2024. One being a coeliac. After a horrendous experience at Palma Airport, we arrived at the hotel extremely hungry, thirsty, hot and exhausted. We were greeted by a pleasant reception team, who explained the basics to my husband and sent us on our way to find our rooms. Sadly, we were given rooms that were not appropriate. They were next to each other as requested, but one of them was literally at the top of a hard stone staircase, that would have resulted in an accident had any one of us taken a wrong turn exiting that room. Thankfully they were able to find us rooms elsewhere in the hotel. While all this was going on, I took my child to the pool bar to try and find him something to eat and drink. I had to ask the person behind the bar for help (bear in mind I had no idea which part of the hotel I was in, I didn’t know our room number, the procedure with the wrist tags, and certainly can’t speak a word of Spanish), and found him to be extremely rude and patronising. I just sat down at a table wanting to burst into tears, with my child begging me for food, when another bar staff member came up to me and helped explain it all. Being rude and patronising seemed to be a theme within the pool bar (not just one of the staff members), and it became a topic of conversation around the pool between the guests. That aside, the swimming pools were lovely and clean. You will need shoes of some kind to get from the pool to your sunbed as the tiles are hot. People start placing towels on sunbeds from earlier than 7am, but there were always available sunbeds. Shade however was not. Nowhere near enough parasols, some pool areas didn’t even have them, and those that were there seemed weather damage and not that effective. If you are going in the hot months, take extra precautions. We saw a huge amount of sunburnt adults and children, and I wonder if the hotel are offering enough shade around the hotel to help guests. Same with the outdoor entertainment area. Lovely clean outdoor space, but at 2pm when the kids are doing the medal activities, that area is unbearable. Food served in the main dining hall was really good, though pizza available every evening – which my child doesn’t eat. For children, something eg. chicken nuggets etc that could be dished up with veg every night may have been better, perhaps something for the hotel to consider. The staff cooking the food were outstanding and extremely helpful, particularly given we had a coeliac and a fussy eater in our group. But in general all the staff in main dining hall were really helpful and professional. I had a sad encounter, walking between the pool and room I came across a baby bird that had fallen out of its nest, along with 2 very distressed adult birds (I had seen a cat walking around only a little earlier). We managed to locate a groundsperson for help, he came, told us he would be back, and we never saw him again. So while this is nature, and beyond human control, its not something I would’ve planned having to deal with as a guest in a hotel, nor something I would want to explain to my young child ie. explaining the circle of life in what is suppose to be a happy place. What would’ve been the solution, I don’t know – but as a guest that should not have been left as my problem. We found all staff doing the cleaning, entertainment, reception to be very helpful and professional. Yes, nearly all furnishings are various shades of orange, but the room layout is great. The bed was phenominal. Aldi a 2 min walk (down hill) and the beach 10 min walk past that so we would recommend this hotel to anyone brave enough to deal with the airport. Our child thoroughly enjoyed himself. Put aside the bird encounter and the rude pool bar staff, its a good hotel particularly with young guests in mind.
