Amazing staff they we’re all so lovely and kind Everywhere was clean not any dirt anywhere there was nothing to complain about it was all lovely Entertainment was amazing hilarious. Drinks from all inclusive and the food was eatable taste really nice We will be returning

Great holiday overall. Group of 13 of us with 7 children stayed for 10 days. The room was spacious, in need of some tlc but fit our needs. Great holiday overall. Group of 13 of us with 7 children stayed for 10 days. The room was spacious, in need of some tlc but fit our needs. If you have kids there is diney channel in English which was helpful for us whilst getting ready for the evening. Shampoo, conditioner and hand soap provided. Our room had 2 balcony's one with a pool view, one with a sea view. The pools were fab. The kids loved the slides. We didn't use the quiet pool but the other 2 main pools were great, music played and the snack bar open which served nuggets, chips, pizza, hitdogs and burgers. Fruit and ice cream. With a help yourself area to beer, water, pop or slush. There were plenty of sunbeds. It wasn't a fight to get a space or a bed and we didn't reserve any in the morning and still had no trouble getting a spot. They are currently building a new pirate theme splash area too. The entertainment was good. Cecila was very friendly and approachable and I'd say the best of the group, some of them didn't interact with us at all and we were a group with 7 children so youd think they would approach a family with a group of children. Activities running for adults and kids throughout the day. We have had better entertainment elsewhere but I'm not sure if the lack of enthusiastic from staff was down to it being end of season. Evening entertainment was hit and miss, the nights external acts were put on were amazing. They dont hire any mediocre drap acts, all were amazing. Nights where hotel staff provided the entertainment where ok. Which is why I say hit and miss. Again not sure if it was because of end of season and staff coming to the end of their year. Lolo the mascot was a hit with my youngest she lit up when lolo came out at the end of mini disco. The restaurant was well maintained and clean. Staff were unbelievable. Friendly, working very hard. Couldn't fault any of them. Lovely people. There was a chef who would pass kiddies a sweetie from his serving area. The food was OK. Some was lovely others was horrible. It was a different theme each night but alot of repetition. Breakfast was the same each day and we got sick of it a few days in. Lunch we mainly stuck to the pool bar for as it was better for the children and tea as I said was a different theme each night. The pizzas there are probably the best pizza we have ever had. However some options were very poor example, the mash was just a slop of smash. Deserts were OK, plenty to chose from but all pretty much the same in taste. Great option of ice cream, bowls or cones. The bar - them guys work their backsides off behind there. Some come straight from the restaurant and start a shift on the bar and work all night. Then you see the same face again first thing in a morning. They work long days and we're always friendly and smiley. Definitely have to commend the staff. The lager is San Miguel. So winner winner. And there are some cocktails available on the all inclusive which were tasty too. Plenty of alcohol and they arnt shy with the measures. There's chocolate milk available for the kiddies which my little 2 loved and again slush which my biggest lived off. And sustainable edible straws. Which I have never seen before but were a hit with the kids. Overall this hotel was very good, we did have a good time. But I wouldn't return here and was ready for coming home by the back end of our stay.

The pros: Great food - for an all inclusive the food was really tasty. Plenty fresh salad, olives, pasta, pizza and never empty trays. Desserts ok, mainly the usual sponge with faux cream type, but if you were fast, you might get the better ones before they were all gone. Pleasant staff, polite and extremely hard working. Pools: great for kids. Choice of 3 and never a shortage of sun beds or parasols. The cons: Poor location - I wouldn’t return to Calais de Mallorca - prefer other areas. It’s a bit rural and too hilly to get to the beach without using the bus (the hotel transfer to beach is always very busy, end up walking and it’s quite an uphill walk on way back. Lifts - the lifts in each hotel building are ridiculously small (literally 3 people in them, or one and 3 cases) and most of the time they were broken. Or rather scarily, didn’t let you out at the required floor and you had to keep hitting buttons to get to a floor where the doors would open. This scared my daughter so much when it happened to us that we had to take the stairs the rest of the holiday (8 flights). Many people coming out the lifts were saying it happened to them too. Tired rooms and the water stinks. After a shower, the bathroom smells of sewers and the wet towels smell disgusting. The hotel is quite old and needs a bit of tlc. Bed was ok but the tiniest pillows ever. No room to move in the bedrooms and no surfaces to put things. Far too small for a family of 3 in one room (2 adults and child). Poor entertainment; could be as nearing end of season, but it was quite poor. One night was a quiz but only the 4 people selected to go on stage could participate! Kids disco was repetitive and not really enough space for it. The hotel has these weird kids rides all the way around the bar area (about 20 or so) the type that you need to put 1€ in to work. But 90% don’t work and swallow your cash. Ridiculous they charge for this in first place. Also bungee ride but it was 6€ a pop!
