“Great stay overall”

The Hotel was great. Plenty places to sit and socialise or find a quiet nook. Never had difficulty finding a sun lounger by the pool although the pool is much smaller than it appeared in the images it was never over crowded. Mostly French vistors to hotel. As a solo traveller this meant not too much conversation. Which wasn't great. Might be an idea for a solo traveller coffee morning to meet other solos travellers. The food was not gourmet. Lots of stews and casseroles. Having said that their salad bar was amazing with extensive choice. Always vegetables and fish and pasta available. Was a bit disappointed that there were no prawns. The entertainment was like butlins. Not my cup of tea. It wasn't easy to find out what activities were going on. Not much was in English.

“A happy customer. Will use again.”

Quite why this hotel is three star and not four I'm not sure. I've stayed at the Globales America 4* next door and I think I prefer this one. Quite why this hotel is three star and not four I'm not sure. I've stayed at the Globales America 4* next door and I think I prefer this one. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and the hotel is next to two beaches. There are walks along the cliff tops and easy access to boat trips nearby. My room is clean and comfortable and the staff are delightfully friendly and reception staff are multi lingual. My room has good Aircon which the staff leave on for you. The electricity doesn't switch off when you leave the room. Simply turn the fans down and you'll have a pleasant room to return to. The pool area is pleasant and there's a water shoot for the kids and not so kids. The food is a buffet and is good. There's always plenty to choose from. Restaurant opens at 7.30 pm, a touch late for my taste, but not a problem. Breakfast is as good as anywhere as long as you don't mind bacon cut streaky. Lots of fruit , drinks and cereals. As a solo traveller, you need to leave something on your table otherwise you'll lose your place as table clearing/ resetting is rapid. I left my table to get a bit of fruit and it was cleared and people occupied it within 2 minutes! There is a snack bar open for burgers, sausages and fruit until 6pm so you won't go hungry. I've witnessed a gent using an electric wheelchair with little problem, except getting through the door of his room was a tight squeeze, but he had side panniers. Lots of entertainment for children and adults. I will come back.

Maybe 4 is a bit too harsh. Hotel is super clean. Staff is kind and happy to help. From cleaning ladies, to receptionists and waiters and kitchen staff. Room is lovely, big with a big bathroom and awesome terrace with lovely view of nature and the beach. Food... where to start. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. But I am fussy eater. But I manage to find something to fill my belly every day. Entertainment team is disaster, but that did not ruin our vacation. Hotel has tennis court, as well as mini golf, volleyball court, footsal court and handball court. Pool is lovely and there are a lot of free loungers around the pool. 4 minutes walk to the beach. Beach is unreal! Close to the hotel,there is a pub showing all PL/CL games with reasonable drink prices.

Pros: Welcomed by the reception staff who were always attentive, worked hard and friendly. They would always go out of their way for you. They treated every guest equally and the amount of languages they can all speak is really impressive! The cleaners did a great job everyday. The sheets were only changed a few times however we always returned to a nice, clean room and beds made well. Even if you slept in but put the sign on your door, they'd clean your room! I can't fault them at all. The waiters/waitresses/bar staff were all fabulous. We said if we were rich we would tip every staff member well. I've never seen staff run around cleaning plates, tables etc so fast! Everyday the dining area was packed and they always ensured you were looked after. If you like a quieter holiday, this would suit you. There's a beautiful beach a 5 minute walk away, it has a bar on the beach, sun loungers. You can take a walk around the coast where the beach is the the views are stunning. We found the food lovely. Everyday there was something different to eat. There's a separate salad bar and desert bar which were always stocked well. If you're someone who just chips and nuggets and burgers then this probably won't suit you. They do chips, but majority of the food is different dishes. However they do amazing pizza and chips throughout the day at the snack bar. Cons: Myself along with other guests complained about the lack of interaction from the entertainment staff towards guests, unless you're french. We found out that the entertainers are hired through a french travel company (along the lines of), and they're told to interact specifically with those that wear the blue and silver wristbands, those that booked through their company. This really ruined our experience, and I noticed even the children were not being spoken as much as the french. Most activities were split up by nationality too, which I found strange. I asked to get involved in a game and was told "no this is a french game, English games are in the morning". I think 2 entertainers out of all the colleagues actually spoke to us at all throughout our ten days, one of these was a girl with long dark brown hair. She did make the effort but the lack of interaction from certain members of staff left a sour taste. One of them acted like she avoided anyone who wasn't french, she wore glasses occasionally and had blonde hair and was french. She said to me her English wasn't good but was fine when I spoke to her about the entertainment not catering for other nationalities. Additionally, when announcements were made they were 90% of the time done in French. I don't think we'd come back purely because of how segregated myself and other guests felt due to the lack of effort towards any non-french guest, which is a shame. During the day the entertainment wasn't very good either, there was next to nothing on regardless of your age. Most nights, the entertainment was rubbish so went out to local bars. One of the reasons we booked all inclusive was to save money however we ended up spending a lot due to going out and about, especially in the evenings. There was one moment that could've ended fatally due to no lifeguard being present. I believe they had a quick break but the pool should've been manned whilst they were gone. A boy began struggling in the water and went under. Their parent has to jump in and get them. Overall we had an enjoyable stay, and cannot thank all the hotel staff enough for their attentiveness, work ethic, and just overall friendliness. However there needs to be a change in the entertainment staff.
