Loved this recently renovated hotel from the moment we arrived. Loved the whole set up, the ambiance, quirkiness and great location. All staff made this hotel what it is. Great big room which was a suite, just as described/shown in pics. The only downside was the shower was not draining away as it should have been but this was due to the recent refurbishment and would be rectified shortly. Conveniently situated for all local amenities. We were half board and plenty of choice to be had in the buffet. Special compliments to chef who took time out to show me what I could eat due to being a coeliac. Most of the food was gluten free so that was great :-). The desserts he made especially for me were a lovely thoughtful treat. All in all I would recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate in going back.

“Wonderful hotel and the best staff”

The stay was wonderful, no crowded swimming pools. We were able to relax wonderfully. The room was very good. We even had a separate living room and 2 balconies (suite standard). The food was very good. In summary the hotel deserves a big compliment but the hotel staff made the difference. They were top, the very best. Everyone, the service, the chef, etc. I would definitely come back here again. With love Cornelia and Carlo

“Very good hotel, good food, great customer service - spoilt only by the DJ at the pool”

We stayed in early June hoping for some early sun and were not disappointed. It has recently been refurbished very well. The room was a pretty good size, with a large bed with firm mattress, the terrace overlooking some scrub land and woods with a side glimpse of the sea. We could have done with a couple more drawers but it was fine (and we brought extra hangars) and there were plenty of sockets. The bathroom was really good with a big shower and rainshower plus hand unit, but you have to lean over to get over the sink. We were advised by TUI a couple of weeks before going that the hotel 100m away between us and the sea was undergoing final refurbishment and that there would be some light noise as they were working internally and a little outside. We asked for more details but although TUI were good on the phone they never came back to us as promised. As it turned out, although you could hear the work most of the day, there was only very ocasional heavy drilling and we barely noticed most of the time. Our reception said they were supposed to have finished in May but had overrun and had promised to finish 20th June (3 days after we left), but it was still a building site with an untiled pool so I seriously doubt that happened. One reason we barely noticed the work was the music. Until around 11:00, it was all pretty good laid back soul and reggae with music you know plus Spanish. However, after then a DJ set up on a raised area over the smaller main pool. He usually started with club type music with a constant thump, thump, thump, thump of drum and bass but at least what you'd call songs, but at some point in the afternoon, he switches to just the drum & bass and repetitive 6 note synthesizer riffs (that was something like a 14 year old might make in his bedroom) as though he was in a club in Ibiza, and ramped up the volume. There were maybe a handful of under-25s, a few 25-late thirties, but a lot of 40s upwards, so they may want to take a look at the demographics of the guests at different times of the season and think about this. This was the only bad point of the whole holiday. The only break from this is a once a week 'white day' where they wrap palm trees in white and stick giant inflated animals in the pools but the great thing was that on that day there was a really good cool sax player (a 'white night' we had in another hotel was fabulous with guests asked to wear white one evening with a fantastic band playing) They say on the website there is entertainment but this consists of one night with a woman singing and guy on a keyboard who were quite good, but the other was a woman and acoustic guitarist. She wasn't very good and sang every song drearily slowly, for example Halleluja (plodding normally) at half the normal speed and even 'simply the best' and the speed of Halleluja. We walked to the big shopping and restaurant area or Cala Bona most nights. The restaurant - plenty to choose from for breakfast with lots cooked fresh with eggs several ways how you want them. Only streaky bacon but it was crispy. Also lots of cold meats and cheeses, plus pastries and biscuits. Lots of choice for dinner, with several meats almost all cooked in front of you, and the young chef was very friendly and accommodating. There was also usually two fish dishes and plenty of veggie fare. Lunch (if you needed any between the plentiful brekkie and dinner) was from the outside bar. Although not an extensive menu, there was a decent choice, but beware the crispy chicken fingers - they are huge, but delicious. Outside, there are four pools - a large one separated from a small one by a lovely little rock pool and bridge, plus two small upper pools, one in a VIP area (you need to spend 50 Euros per bali bed (2-3 people) for the day). There were plenty of varied Bali beds around the main pools (all free) and also plenty of sunbeds and it didn't seem crowded. We always used a quieter area slightly off the pools. I have to give particular praise to the staff. Customer service was excellent, with all the reception staff really helpful and nice, and in particular the bar and waiting staff, who were very friendly, especially Andrea, Raul and the Argentinian lady whose name we can't remember. They all also said that the management were really good and friendly and they loved working there because of the good energy.

I have been to Majorca so many times and this hotel was one of the worst when we talk about food !! Absolutely tasteless food. One night they had nothing but pork. So sent us something that was meant to be a burger. The blood was looting out onto our plate. Stank of raw meat. We went breakfast and dinner so ended up paying accordingly, but had no choice than to either order Burger King to hotel every night or go up the rd for a decent meal. I’m so socked when I read the reviews about lovely food. All in all up till this stay all other hotels I have been to all had lovely food this was terrible. But around the hotel (apart from main chef) was all lovely absolutely lovely friendly, talkative hotel in itself was lovely. Our experience the only negative was the food.
