We had 10 days in Mallorca, and Hipotels was the hotel that i was most satisfied with during the trip as well as the best hotel with a rich buffet, friendly staff service and warm feeling, fun family activities. The quality at Hipotels is the quality of the resort and i will definitely come back

The double room with one child was very spacious and met all our needs!

Hello I would like to write a review not from the whole group but just some people. We checked into the hotel on November 23, 2022 and checked out on December 1, 2024. For our 8 days of stay, we have formed a certain opinion about the staff and in general the hotel itself. The first thing I want to start with is that we were not perfect guests and know perfectly well what and where were guilty and immediately corrected and solved certain problems. The administration in turn behaved horribly. I want to note the girl at the reception does not remember her name, but she is Spanish, wears glasses and works most of the day. She was the one who checked us into the hotel on the 23rd. Every time we asked for help, we felt a biased attitude and did not get all the information we asked for. The next thing I can't help but mention is that three girls from our group could not be put in the room that was indicated when booking the hotel. No one wanted to help us properly, but just blamed everything on our travel agent and coach, telling us to sort it out ourselves. Only after our work, the administration agreed to provide an appropriate room 3 days after arrival. Before that, the girls lived in another building in a room designed for two people. On our second night in this hotel, we were just in the second building in a room. Suddenly we heard an abnormal knock on the door and a man screaming behind the door. We were scared out of our wits and of course did not open the door. After 2 or 3 minutes, our room is opened with a card and a crazy old man, a hotel employee, comes in and starts screaming and throwing our things. He broke one of the girls' cream too. After telling the reception about this situation we didn't see any feedback, the girl confirmed that it was totally normal and they would do everything to solve the problems at the hotel. Yes, we may have been loud, but that doesn't mean it's ok to barge into our room and damage our stuff. Also I can't help but mention the staff in the restaurant. At every dinner they raised their voices at us, pulled food out of our hands and every time made us sit down at another table under the pretext that all tables were already reserved for the next meal. Again, no one reacted. Also, I want to mention that the cleaning in the room is just terrible, towels are not changed, the bathroom is not washed and do everything only when you point to it. Well not without good things, there is a very nice and helpful man working at the reception, he mostly comes out in the evening. Also very friendly and positive guy who carries luggage. The food in the restaurant is delicious and varied, everyone can find something for themselves. Rooms are large and comfortable, everything is more or less new. Very much space and good interior in the rooms. Balconies are wide. The bedding and towels are clean and white. Speaking of the spa, the pool is very small and shallow, almost impossible to swim properly. The tiles in the pool area can be dirty and very unpleasant to walk around without slippers. But, there are two kinds of saunas, very comfortable and cool inside each of them Summing up I can confidently say that the staff still work and work on how to behave with clients and how to control aggression and anger. The hotel itself is not bad enough, quietly pulls on its 4 stars. But the disgusting attitude of the staff spoils everything. Just because of this experience, we no longer want to come to this hotel and consider it for the next vacation in Palma de Mallorca.

My wife and I decided to return for another holiday to the Hipotels Cala Millor Park Hotel after having spent a number of years travelling to other destinations. 2018 was our last visit. The holiday was booked with Jet 2 for a Junior Suite Room with sea view on an All Inclusive basis. As my wife at the time was working at a school it was booked to coincide with the October half term break. The following is a true reflection of the holiday we have just returned from. Reception – It was nice to be welcomed by staff who recognised us from previous visits. On all our dealings with the reception staff throughout our visit, we were welcomed with a smile and a cheery ‘hello’ each time with all our queries dealt with efficiently and quickly. Room – We were allocated Room 1602 which was, as you look at the hotel from the sea side, on the top floor to the left. The room was spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. The only slight confusing thing was that you had to get milk from the restaurant or bars to use in your room as the maids do not provide this with the other tea and coffee making provisions. The maid who cleaned our room on a daily basis was polite and friendly and always said hello when we saw her. The room was always cleaned to an extremely high standard. Restaurant – Given the mixed weather we experienced during our visits, and the limited selection of food at the poolside bar, we ate in the buffet restaurant every day. The restaurant unfortunately soon became very busy at each serving and was extremely chaotic at times. Big queues soon formed each time outside the restaurant waiting for tables to become available. Whilst the salad/cold food selections and the deserts were tasty and varied, the same couldn’t be said for the hot food selection. Due to the chaos, demand exceeded supply quite often so you were left waiting for trays, or show cooking to be replenished. This resulted unfortunately in the presentation of food going out of the window. The plates were always cold so by the time you got the food of your choice back to your table, which was at best only luke warm at the time of selection, it was cold when you eventually got back to your table to eat it. The hot food was extremely repetitive so if you liked fish, chicken or pork you were fine. Beef dishes were not served at all during our nine day stay, although veal was served on a couple of occasions. The waiting staff were amazing though always supplying you with drinks and working incredibly hard to clear tables so guests could eat, whilst always greeting you with a cheery smile. It was disappointing to see that the long trouser rule was not enforced during evening meal service despite it being mentioned on the Hotel website and on a sign as you entered the dining room. I witnessed men wearing vest tee-shirts, sports shorts, flip flops and baseball caps during the evening service. This is very much different to our last visit in 2018 when the restaurant manager would turn men away who tried to enter wearing shorts during the evening service. The order of the day for dress code for men was tee-shirts and jeans. All Inclusive Drinks – I’m afraid these were a complete let-down. The alcohol content appeared to be minimal and in some instances were served in plastic glasses inside the hotel. The amount of All Inclusive drinks included in the drinks menu overall was small with all branded drinks, including Dry Martini, which my wife normally drinks, being chargeable. The all inclusive wines were not pleasant to drink either unfortunately, as my wife and I prefer sweeter tasting wines. The hot all inclusive beverages were disappointing and in most cases only luke warm when served. Pool Area – Given the mixed weather, sunbeds were always available around the pool. However as you walked down the ramp to the pool each day, you were greeted by a strong unpleasant smell. Dependent on the wind direction this was still evident on the sunbeds. After a couple of hours each day this gave both my wife and I sore throats which was extremely unpleasant. The Hotel suggested the smell was from fertiliser being spread by local farms. This however doesn’t explain why there was such a strong smell of it each day when entering the pool area, and was not really evident when out walking outside of the hotel. We still do wonder whether the hotel have a drains issue? Entertainment – This was varied and in the main watchable. It was disappointing however that there was no entertainment available on the Sunday evening for either children or adults on the night before we left. The Animation Team seemed to entertain the children amazingly well and everybody should be congratulated for the magnificent way Halloween was celebrated in the hotel. Well done to everybody concerned. Hotel Staff – The staff across the whole hotel were amazing throughout the holiday. It was nice to catch up with staff who were at the hotel from our previous visit in 2018. They really are an incredible asset to the Hotel and Hipotels as an organisation. Overall – I’m not sure whether we would return to the Hipotels Cala Millor Park Hotel again as the hotel does really seemed more geared up for families rather than couples. It also seems more geared up for German guests as they are the vast majority of visitors to the hotel. If we did it would be away from school holiday time and certainly not at this time of year. We do love Cala Millor as its far quieter than some other areas of Majorca we have previously visited. However we were surprised how Cala Millor and Cal Bona seemed to close down on 01 November with hotels, bars, restaurants and shops literally closing down on 31 October. On 01 November both resorts resembled ghost towns which was strange.
