Just returned from our FOURTH stay here and have already booked our 5th in September ! Staff are excellent, friendly and efficient and always have a smile on their faces. Ali and Sonya are amazing - full of energy and a credit to themselves and the hotel. The grounds are beautifully maintained and rooms are cleaned daily if you want. Can't wait to get back, thank you all for another very enjoyable holiday!

We stayed at this hotel at the end of May. Chose an adult hotel on purpose and wasn’t disappointed. Great location for pretty much everything. Room was lovely and clean, we had a pool view from our balcony which was perfect. The food was good, decent selection and plenty of it. We never had to rush for a sunbed as there were plenty. The only negative I would say is the gym. We specifically wanted a gym as we’re both big gym goers and wanted to keep this up whilst on holiday. We were extremely disappointed in the gym. Very poor selection of machines and not even a treadmill! The couple of things they did have were very old and didn’t work properly. We tried using it once and didn’t bother again. It needs a complete overhaul, some decent new machines and the hours need to be extended. It can only be used from 8am and most people who use a gym regularly like to be in there much earlier and well before breakfast so they are then free to enjoy the rest of their day. Other than that we had a great time.

Spent one week at the hotel, it was a pleasant stay although the hotel doesn't scream 4 star to me, especially when compared to other 4 stars in the same area. Apologies for the lengthy review! Rooms: We had no sleep on our first night as we were placed right by the group of cockrels on the right side of the hotel. If you're in rooms 01-10 on any floor you will not be getting any sleep unless you can sleep through constant cockrels from 4am onwards. We paid for an upgrade to room 11 on the 6th floor and could still hear them but it was more bearable to sleep through. The rooms need a bit of an update, paint peeling on the doors (assume this is weather as they're external outdoor doors), skirting boards broken, showers not draining properly, every night our tap in the sink would stop working and at one point dirty water came out of it. Paying for an upgrade is worth it, you get a moderately sized room with coffee facilities and compared to our original box room (even the toilet got bigger with the upgrade). Food: Seen a lot of complaints about food on here. In all honesty the food is fine, not the nicest I've had but there's plenty to choose from, themed nights every night and enough tables. They can be close together but that's the space they have. The issue is people descend on the food like vultures as soon as the dining times start and it's like a free for all. We always waited at least 30 mins - 1hr into the dining times before going to give the vultures time to disperse. The staff constantly work hard to ensure food is cooked and replenished, as well as drinks! Facilities: The pools were great. Loved swimming every day and the jacuzzi. The pool bar was also great and there was an ice cream machine and pastry section if you got hungry during the day as well as other snacks behind the bar. There's an indoor bar too which is always cool and the stage area was always nice to be around. The staff work tirelessly to ensure your tables were cleaned, empty drinks taken, even did table service to get you a drink to save you getting up to go to the bar. Honestly the staff is what makes this hotel better, they're all amazing. Sonia & Ally are the entertainers and their energy was brilliant, and infectious, and without them this hotel wouldn't be worth visiting imo. Loved the archery and foam party, and wished i had taken part in more activities! There's also a spa which we didn't visit, and an indoor pool but it was locked up the whole week we stayed which was unfortunate as we had a couple cloudy days. As people say there are definitely plenty of sunbeds...Just not around the pool. My poor partner had to get up early and join the running masses to secure sunbeds near a pool or one with a parasol. You can pay to use the balinese beds which we did on the hottest day. Additionally, the town and shops are a couple mins walk away, and the beach is 5 mins away. We didn't manage to get out much as I was ill for most of the holiday but managed to enjoy what I could. Even had a late check out until 4pm which was great as we had a very late flight!

“Tired hotel in need of an update but staff were amazing!”

Arrived here with Jet2 following the electrical outage at Manchester airport, which was nothing short of a disaster. Nothing to do with the hotel so I’ll leave that for now! Arrival at the hotel was very friendly albeit never a 4 star in anyone’s eyes! With no luggage and arriving on a Sunday, it would be helpful for the hotel to have a toothbrush and toothpaste to hand as finding such items was difficult. The room was disappointingly small, with no tea/coffee facilities, although we later found out that some rooms have them. The rooms are tired and dated, in need of a lick of paint already so early in the season. And the shower leaked constantly onto the floor and didn’t drain properly although this was reported. Food was ok, if repetitive. It wasn’t replenished quickly enough and at best, basic. One thing that stands out though, is the staff. The waiters, entertainment staff and maids, make this hotel! They work so hard and truly deserve credit where it’s due! The reception staff however could be a little friendlier! The hotel looks tired and is in need of an update. Sadly, we won’t be back and at best, it was ok for a lazy week away but don’t expect too much!
