“Great Value For Money”
Hotel was excellent value for money and in a great location. All staff were friendly and helpful really enjoyed our week there. Plenty to eat and drink and the rooms were a good size to. Pool area was clean well attended and always had enough beds to cater for the guests.

Overall it was a good stay. The view from our balcony was beautiful and faced over the pool and had sun loungers on the balcony. However, there was not much variety of foods and we had to ask for another pillow each. As well as this, our balcony chair was broken and the balcony was dirty when we first arrived. The water went freezing cold around 18:15pm every evening. On the plus side, the hotel is in a good place with the beach on your door step and the evening entertainment was great.

Great location, close to beach, shops and local restaurants. Hotel was clean and tidy, staff friendly however rooms could do with some modernisation My room was ground floor which was spacious in block 3 and accommodated us comfortably . The cleaner came daily and made beds etc and changed towels if we required them changing. However there was mould on the ceiling just as you entered room and the bathroom was small but had a musky smell. Again mould appearing on the ceiling tiles and droplets of water on ceiling tiles. The only ventilation was a very small window which we just left open all the time so it didn’t smell of damp so much. The rooms could also do with a little kettle and a mini fridge in them as if you are an early riser and fancied a cuppa you had to wait for the onsite restaurant which was across the road to open at 8am to get a hot drink. We brought some bottles of water but again even though it was late October they went warm rather quickly hence why a mini fridge would be handy. The main restaurant served a variety of food basic but something for everyone. Unfortunately there was only a few tables set out for 4 people majority was for 2 people, this caused difficulty for us as a family of 5 and a few times we sat separately as it was busy. They seemed short staffed in the restaurant most of the time particularly at breakfast we were awaiting tables to be cleaned and they ran out of cups and glasses. The bar areas again were short staffed and at both the main bar and pool bar there was often a queue for drinks. Possibly for the future they could look into having the tea/coffee and the fizzy drinks machine self serve as this would reduce the queue at the bars. Also they could invest in some bigger reusable cups as the cups were small probably just smaller than half a pint. Most people ended up getting two drinks each time to save you getting up because of the queue. The evening entertainment was good, Elena is very friendly and comes round and talks to everyone. There was bingo, quizzes and karaoke. The pool bar was closed a few times too with no explanation as to why it was closed. There were plenty of people sitting around the pool but we had to cross the road to go to the main bar in block 2 to get drinks, this was in the daytime too. Overall we had a nice relaxing week at this hotel. However if the few tweaks to the room, restaurant and bars were changed then we would consider returning to this hotel.

When we arrived we was very disappointed with our room. There was a ceiling panel, what I presume was a loft panel, half fitted in the ceiling. The doors were bashed about with bits missing at the bottom, tiles were popping off in the bathroom. We was on the ground floor and our balcony was very small with a view of bushes and a gravelled area that was covered in cigarette butts. The room was very dark and dated. There were 2 doors (1 behind the other) to access the balcony and were just off the Main Street, a glass door on the inside which didn’t lock, and a wooden slated door that did lock but felt unsafe should someone want to break in. We went straight back to reception and politely asked if we could be moved to a better room. But just got asked bluntly “why?” We explained that the room felt unsafe, was dark, dated, and the view was terrible. The guy on reception then just told us that most customers email and ask for nice views but we didn’t. He then said the hotel was very busy and we would have to wait a few days to see if it gets quieter. The move didn’t happen in the end because the hotel just got busier. The location of the hotel was great for access to beach, shops, restaurants etc. The hotel was clean, apart from outside area, but very dated and in need of some serious tlc. The hotel has sections either side of a road and so felt very disjointed. We found the food was not good at all. I appreciate that it is hard to cater for everyone’s tastes but apart from breakfast the food was terrible. Cala millor is a lovely resort but sadly we will not be returning to this BLUESEA hotel.
