For past twelve years we always went to different apartments but they were fully booked when I tried so I thought I’d give Sol Cala Dor a try.Little bit apprehensive before arriving but pleasantly surprised.Very clean well located apartments.Pool and surrounding area cleaned each day.Was always able to get a sun bed.On site restaurant/bar was good for lunch.Staff very pleasant and always helpful.We requested a top floor apartment and this was granted.Thankyou! To sum it up I will be booking here again for next year! A big thankyou!

“Great location and very clean”

Basic but had everything we needed such as a kettle,tea towel and towels. We didn’t cook but there was a fridge ,two ring hob and microwave and very basic utensils. Basic but had everything we needed such as a kettle,tea towel and towels. We didn’t cook but there was a fridge ,two ring hob and microwave and very basic utensils. The bed was plenty big enough and very comfortable with extra bedding if we needed it. The bathroom was compact but the shower was much better than it looked and we never had a problem with getting hot water. Air conditioning was very good but also very noisy and we found that if ours was off we could still hear other people’s (minor gripe.) What we did notice was how clean everything was - I was pleasantly surprised to have fresh towels and bedding halfway through our short stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved the central location too. We will definitely stay here again!

“Great Location”

Just returned from a lovely family holiday staying in the Sol Cala D’Or apartments. The rooms were clean and of a good standard. The pool area was very nice if pretty busy. Just returned from a lovely family holiday staying in the Sol Cala D’Or apartments. The rooms were clean and of a good standard. The pool area was very nice if pretty busy. We stayed on a selfcatering basis and the kitchen had enough crockery, cutlery to make breakfast or lunch, this is all you need as it is within a 10minute walk of a large variety of very good restaurants. The nearest beach is less than a 5 minute walk so all in all it is a great location

The hotel is in a brilliant location, close to everything, drinks were lovely and never really had a problem with sun loungers, most of the staff were lovely especially the bar staff. The hotel is in a brilliant location, close to everything, drinks were lovely and never really had a problem with sun loungers, most of the staff were lovely especially the bar staff. My only negatives were we arrived at lunch time and our room wasn’t ready so she told us to put our suitcases in the locker (which was up a very steep flight of stairs) and to come back at 3, we came back at 3 and it still wasn’t ready, which is ok things happen and cleaning can run behind we were told to come back in 20 mins, we did and still not ready so were told to come back later, we ended up not getting into our room until half 4 which was ok we understood. Rooms were lovely and spacious, the only issue was the noise from another bar/hotel near by at nighttime, despite having ear plugs in and my night podcast full volume I could still hear a Freddie Mercury tribute act belting (which to give him his credit did sound very like him). Day 3 into our 5 day stay our air conditioning broke, when I told reception this I was instantly rebutted by an older gentleman who claimed that they’ve turned off all the ACs due to “cooler temperature” and told me to open a window, not being one for any form of confrontation I just accepted it and suffered through the last 2 days. Was it a nice stay? Yeah I guess so. Would I be back? Probably not, I need air con too much
