If you are looking for a family hotel in a great location with exceptional customer service, the Ivory Playa is the perfect choice. All of the staff are passionate about providing the best service. The entertainment team are some of the most talented people i have met. They make all of the guests feel welcome and ensure everyone has a good time. They are also great role models to our children. Some hotels can feel big, corporate and uncaring. But, the Ivory Playa feels like a family run business, who take pride in their customer service. You can see the staff enjoy providing the best holiday experience for their guests. We would like to thank the team at Ivory Playa for making our holiday the best ever.

“Snooty receptionist soured holiday!”

Stayed at the ivory playa for eleven nights. This is our third visit having been there in 1996 and 2000. Pros: Excellent entertainment team who work tirelessly to entertain both young and old. Fabulous waiting staff both at pool bar and in evening. Pool bar food v good. Lovely clean hotel. Great for children the entertainment team genuinely love engaging with the children. Cons: Found the majority of reception staff very welcoming bar one stern older lady named Britta. On arrival her militant check in regime was met with frustration when I explained there was some confusion over surnames in our room…..checkout was met with more of her Kurt behaviour. Firstly, I was wrongly charged for a meal at the pool signed by someone who clearly was not me or a member of my family. We paid for everything either in cash or card we never charged the room as we like to keep the receipts. After I explained that this was not me there was no sign of an apology. The man checking out in front of me was given a fond farewell by this receptionist with a hope to see him again whereas we were treated like something on her shoe. To be honest, I thought the hotel was very good bar this experience but it has soured any possibility of a repeat visit in the future. Britta would want to change her manner!!

“Amazing hotel, entertainment team were the best!”

This hotel is brilliant, they have a back entrance to the beach a 2 min walk. The hotel is spotless, the cleaners clean the pool every morning, all the staff we encountered were all lovely the entertainment team were the best we've seen! This hotel is brilliant, they have a back entrance to the beach a 2 min walk. The hotel is spotless, the cleaners clean the pool every morning, all the staff we encountered were all lovely the entertainment team were the best we've seen! There was no reserving sun beds we went to the pool around 1130 one day and there were so many beds still available, the port is about 5 minutes in a taxi the old town 10 minutes. The only downside was the hotel only offer 1 bedroom apartments while the room was fine for us we did feel we would have benefited from a bigger room, we would love to come back but the room would probably stop us, as a family of 4. Everything else is amazing!

“good value and nice hotel”

We booked a 1 bedroom 'apartment' with balcony which overlooked the sea. We did have a huge tree blocking alot of the view, but we could still see the Mediterranean. Our room was basic, but clean and had everything we needed. A small kitchen area with fridge and a small amount of cooking facilities. The hotel staff are wonderful, the reception team and house cleaning staff were all excellent. The beach is very close by and is wonderfully kept. Across the road is a small supermarket, which we used to stock up on tasty Spanish cheeses, ham, bread and other treats. We stayed last October and I totally forgot to wright a review. Its alittle late to wright one, but we enjoyed ourselves here. We booked through LoveHolidays and they mostly provide competitive prices.
