I'm writing about the stuff I wanted to know. A really great space. Nice and clean, plenty of sunbeds (not so many umbrellas) and only a few doing the 8:30 scramble. Our apartment had a kettle and toaster and exactly enough of everything for 3 people. One smallish saucepan and one smallish frying pan. To work the hob you have to put the timer button on. Good hot shower - can be less hot at peak times. TV had 2 or 3 film/ documentary and kids channels. Receptionists very helpful and all staff friendly. Kept it spotlessly clean. Good hairdryer in bathroom. Supermarket down road - turn right and it's on the corner on your left, reasonable prices and basics ( bread, milk, cheese etc). Turn left and left again when out of apartments and you hit the top end of quite a few bars and restaurants etc. Enjoy your stay.

“Lovely family holiday”

We visited Sol de Alcudia in may 2024 for 10 nights self catering in a one bedroom apartment. The staff were very helpful and friendly during check in. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. We had requested a cot prior and this was set up in the room ready. The pool area was always clean but the pools themselves were very cold so our toddler would only dip her feet in although there were plenty of braver children playing. We paid for one day half board while we were there and the food was very nice. We also ate at the snack bar and again this was nice and reasonably priced. This hotel was in an ideal location with so many bars and shops near too but not too noisy. It wasn’t too far to walk to the beach and bus stop to travel to the markets. Would definitely recommend this hotel

My family and I (2 adults, 4 children aged 1,6,8,10) from Ireland have just returned from a ten day stay at this fantastic hotel. I booked this hotel direct and from the start, communication was excellent with all queries answered via email. We stayed on a half board basis and upon a late arrival we had food delivered to our room which was a spotless three bedroom apartment with shower/bath/shampoo etc. Kitchen has all you would need for self catering. The food was absolutely fantastic with plenty of choice for all the family- we ate breakfast every morning and had dinner most evenings as it was delicious especially the BBQ and Mexican themes- you would not get better out at a restaurant. The hotel itself is situated central to all amenities and 5 min walk to beach where you can then walk along 15 minutes and arrive at the port. We got a taxi to hidropoark but walked home when we realised it is only 6 min walk also using google maps down some sidestreets. Markets on Sunday and Thursday- taxi would need to be booked in advance or else take the 322 bus outside champions bar and get off at tourist info centre @ old town. Old Town is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit day or night. The staff in this hotel are absolutely outstanding and really go out of their way which for us, really made our holiday. Every morning we were greeted and welcomed in for breakfast. Everyone is so friendly and as it is a small hotel, they got to know us all by name which was lovely. Every single member of staff should be proud of themselves :). I was happy with the size of this hotel as I could see where my children were at all times which was so important as we had previously stayed at the humongous and incredibly busy Club Mac. Cocktails are lovely and the lunch at bubble bar is good and reasonable. Milkshakes are a bit pricey at 6 euro but everything else is fairly priced. The pool area is again spotless and the pools are well maintained- only downside is that there is no shallow area in the baby pool for my 1 year old to sit down and splash- but she could stand in inflatable with me in the pool. Renovations are taking place in October so possibility this could be looked at. The animation staff are great and our children enjoyed the evening entertainment as well as having fun with the staff. Overview is I will definitely return to this hotel and actually think we will go next year again. I would really recommend this family friendly hotel without hesitation and thank you for such a wonderful stay in Sol De Alcudia.

We’ve just returned from a fab trip to Alcudia, and would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and bars; and a comfortable 30 min walk into the port of an evening. Plenty of sunbeds, if a little bit of a rush to get a good spot in the morning, and we loved playing sjoelen with Lukas from the entrainment team!! Our room was nice enough, we were on the road side which doesn’t look as if the refurb has reached it yet, but it was clean and the beds were comfy.
