Had a lovely stay at hotel Sentido , we had a junior suite which was spacious ,clean and nice decor . All the staff we met were pleasant and helpful . The restaurant was well run with lots of choice and food was lovely . Couldn’t fault it . The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach and a row of bars with live music and shops . Regular bus service into nearby resorts and only a couple of euros , easy to travel between resorts . My first time abroad for a few years , and we definitely plan to go back .

Currently on our last night of our family holiday. First trip to Lanzarote for our children aged 7 and 9 and they were not disappointed. Worn out every night ready for bed. We had the best time despite some rainy weather. The hotel rooms were comfortable although I would prefer the toilet area to be more private in the room. Glass doors with an opening at the top however I hear the hotel is being refurbished in 3 weeks so maybe this is something that will be changed going forward. Hotel was very clean, pretty and economical. All members of staff were helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us from the waiters, bar tenders, entertainers, cleaners and the lifeguards. We practically loved the outdoor cinema with patio heaters and blankets. Very comfortable chairs to lounge on after your evening meal whilst waiting for the entertainment to begin. Very relaxing. The entertainment for us was super. Funny, full of energy and interactive. The entertainment team made it for us each and every very one of them keeping us entertained around the pool as well as the evening. Toni was comical in his evening acts, so much fun and an excellent dancer, as was Bianca.. special thanks to Lucia who was an icon to my daughter. pretty, funny, friendly, always smiling and making everything so much fun. Lucia went the extra mile for my children always making a fuss of them when they were around. She was a ball of energy. Lucia and Toni defiantly make the holiday! The cocktail demonstrations in the afternoon at the pool side were much enjoyed by everyone also and a lovely added bonus as some of the cocktails aren’t included in the all inclusive. But there’s enough to choose from. The alcohol is all branded ie Gordon’s gin, Jim beam etc. best all inclusive drinks I’ve ever experienced. Water dispensers all around the hotel also to help yourself as you walk around. Reception staff very helpful - taxis ordered and appears within minutes. Excellent pools. 1 with music and activities, 1 adult pool and 1 quieter pool and a fun splash pool for younger children. Food at the restaurant was varied and hot. Plenty of space and excellent terrace outside heated and lit with fairy lights. My children loved the crisis and pancakes daily. My only down side to the all inclusive buffet restaurant and snack bar in the theatre and maybe it’s just me but there were no hand sanitizer stations around so we did take our own. As for the kids club - my children have never wanted to go to a kids club before but they actually asked this holiday and went for a few days for 2 hours and enjoyed making t shirts, arts, eating Nutella and ice cream. Special shout out to Alina and Amelia (apologises if I got their names wrong) these lovely ladies from Russia and Finland kept the kids entertained and were very welcoming. Thank you. Beach is down the road less than 10 minutes away and easily walked with my 7 year old. Puerto del carmen strip a longer walker roughly 20-30 mins depending on your pace however the strip is long so for little legs a taxi is needed after a long day swimming. Taxi costs less than 5 euro and takes 5 mins. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back in the near future.

Stayed here many times before and it was mostly great as usual. The room I had was a select junior suite in block 5 with a large balcony and sun loungers which I appreciated. The room was very clean. You can opt for less cleaning which I did on arrival… seems pointless to have daily cleaning . The reception staff greeted me warmly and check in was quick. The only gripe I have this time is the terrible queues for meals! Dinner opened at 6.30 and there was always a long queue to get in as the staff are too slow and have to show everyone to a table…I prefer to choose my own thank you instead of being stuck somewhere as a solo traveler wherever they decide!! I ate later one night and it was an even longer wait in the howling wind outside! Also I found this year it was definitely a case of dress down for dinner …very casual. The food was cold sometimes although there was lots of choice it was t the best quality. However it’s still value for money!

Lovely rooms. Comfy beds. Nice shower. Get one by the adult pool area if you can ( block 5) as it’s quieter and less chance of being awakened by families with young children who tend to be in the other blocks . We travelled with friends who were put into one of the other blocks and were awakened by crying children in the night who were in adjoining rooms. Strongly recommend going bed and breakfast only as the dining room is set up with food in all parts of the room and people weave in and out of tables like a slalom and it makes it feel like a canteen and not a great dining experience. This is ok for breakfast but not great for your evening meal . We booked half board but ended up eating out as despite there being a good choice of food the dining room was too crowded and there was a constant queue to get in and it felt like you had to eat and run to accommodate other guests.
