“Lovely relaxing time”

Family of four, with 19 and 17 year olds for 10 nights. We got a spacious modern two bedroom apartment (No 21) overlooking the pool. Came with its own small terrace with two sunbeds, sunbed mattresses, umbrella, and table and chairs. I had emailed ahead and asked if this was possible to get a room near the pool. They had emailed back and although they couldn't guarantee it they would try. This definitely made the holiday for us as it was easy to come and go as we pleased. Hotel reception is very modern and artistic. Lots of artwork displayed around the place, inside and out. The grounds are immaculately kept. There is an area where you can exchange books. Maids great, very friendly. Breakfast excellent. Nice spread, lots of choice, and lady doing the show cooking very welcoming. Pool and surrounds are the cleanest I've ever seen. So easy to get sunbeds and plenty of shade with large umbrellas. A few negatives. The welcome on reception was not great. Lukewarm, told to wait, and then not much info given. Safe was 2 euros a day, had to go back to reception to find this out. Also, 20 euros for aircon for our stay. Luckily the fans in the bedrooms were adequate, but would probably require in high season. The wet room shower is badly designed. The water doesn't run away as it should, flooding the room. There is no on-site bar, we got drinks and snacks from the Spar 5 mins walk away, and stocked up the fridge. The pool is freezing. Ok once you've been in for a bit. It says it is heated and even gives the temperature on a screen in reception, but find this very hard to believe! Late check was 50 euros if the room was available. There is noise from the airport but you get used to it, and I enjoyed seeing the planes take off. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby, the majority very well priced. Notable mentions to Hong Kong Island, Devon (steak night), La Roma, Price of India. Peking Duck buffet in Puerto Del Carmen was a pleasant and cheap surprise. Some good bars in the shopping centre to watch the football. Enjoyed the Sportmans bar to watch football, they show all the games, all levels, just ask. Bus to Puerto Del Carmen is cheap and easy. Nearest bus stop is 5 mins walk away. Would definitely visit again.

“Accommodation was very modern and clean”

Enjoyed our seven days at Club Nautilus the accommodation was modern and the rooms were well equipped and clean with cleaners everyday. The only issues we had was we had to pay for the air conditioning (60 euros for 7 nights). There was no pool bar which meant you had to get drinks from local super… more

Enjoyed our seven days at Club Nautilus the accommodation was modern and the rooms were well equipped and clean with cleaners everyday. The only issues we had was we had to pay for the air conditioning (60 euros for 7 nights). There was no pool bar which meant you had to get drinks from local supermarkets and if you wanted a snack had to either leave the resort to eat somewhere else of have food in your apartment which is an option

“Would not return”

I would avoid this place as it’s overpriced, the bungalows are very old and tired and need a total refurbishment particularly the bathroom and the horrible sofa in the living room. There are so much better places nearby as we love the Matagorda area.
