Family of 4, 2 apartments. We read reviews before we came, some reviews are completely wrong and very unfair. Location is excellent bare in mind its all down hill for 300m, but very steep climb coming back. Apartments are very clean, cleaned 2s in our week stay, you can ask for more towels if you need in-between no bothers at all. Dumi excellent he can't do enough for you, excellent entertainer, excellent promotor for Plaza Palmeras. He works extremely hard at making holidays makers happy. Alex the chef is very good the breakfast is very good [ could have better selection of cereals] but was ok. Lunch is good, there is a good selection. Dinner could be alot better and warmer to be fair. We were here for 1 theme night and it was mexican and it and it was delicious. Where i think the hotel is a let down is bar snacks we were all inclusive snacks like crisps and olives and pickled vegtables are not really good we seen 2 days were there was Pizzas and chips and to be fair they were better.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel after reading some of the reviews however I was happy with my apartment. It was clean and spacious Requested a high floor ( the buildings are 2 storeys) so got top floor (room 72). All apartments face the pool. Sun on the balcony depends on what side of the complex you’re on There’s a microwave, 2 ring hob, kettle, cutlery and crockery and a toaster in the kitchen area so sufficient if you’re B&B 2 single beds in the bedroom. Fitted wardrobes with a safe (€3 a day). There’s also an air conditioning unit in the bedroom but none in the living space. I was happy to learn that air conditioning was still available in Jan and they hadn’t switched to heating Clean bathroom. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Due to the water pressure the bathroom floor does get a bit wet but you do get a bath mat which by the end of my shower was pretty wet but I put it out on the balcony to dry along with my towels Living area has a settee and a table. The tv has UK channels - HgTV, Challenge, ITV2, a couple of news channels, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Film 4 there maybe others I’ve forgotten. It’s not got any bbc channels or ITV1 Food - it was ok and similar to any 3 or 4 star I’ve stayed in although there wasn’t a lot of choice but could always find something to eat. At breakfast you can get a freshly made omelette and at dinner time the soup was always hot and it tasted lovely. The rest of the food was lukewarm. Standard coffee machine Location - it’s in an excellent part of Puerto Del Carmen. Nearer the casino that the old town. As others have said it’s quite a climb back up the hill from the strip but you don’t need to come straight up you can come via some side streets that are flatter. There’s a small supermarket attached to the apartments and a hiperdino just down the road Entertainment - the guy tried hard but it wasn’t to my taste. Also all entertainment is outside and it can be chilly at night as it was January So would I return? If the price is right then I’d definitely come back
