Stayed here August '23 with my wife and 15 yr old daughter. We arrived fairly late at night and after a fairly long transfer going round and round PDC (we recommend a taxi, alot faster and cheaper) we checked in. Chap on reception wasnt the most welcoming but after a simple check in we was given a map and told we was in room 312. I had emailed the hotel beforehand to ask to a ocean facing high room and we certainly got that. After a bit of searching and and quite a few steps we found our room. Room was nice and clean, yes there was a bit of flaky paint here and there and a bit of damage on a door but what do you expect? It was clean and comfy and did give amazing views over the pool towards the beach and sea. Its quite a well equipped room with everything you need for a simple stay, decent aircon (situated in the living room only but does cool the whole apartment down), nice smart TV if you needed it and a large spacious bathroom, living area and bedroom. Room was cleaned almost daily, towels and linen changed reguarly or if requested. The grounds are kept very clean and the staff do work hard to maintain them. Lanzarote is quite a breezy island so you do get quite alot of "nature" falling off trees etc and they do their best to keep on top of it all. Theres two pools plus a kiddies splash pool to choose from. We never had an issue with using inflateables but I know from seeing some reviews it can be a bit hit and miss if the lifeguards let you use them. I suppose the problem can be if the pool gets too busy with them then it can be hard to spot anyone in distress, although maybe the lifeguards could spend a bit less time on their phones! Never had an issue with sunbeds or people leaving towels but even though it was August the hotel didnt seem that busy. Only issue around the pool was a lack of parasols which in August and the temp is hitting mid 30s you appriaciate a bit of shade. Area in general was clean and tidy but did lack a bit of atmosphere an maybe a little music/activities to pass a bit of time? Little snack bar is OK for a drink or quick bite to eat. We only used it a couple of times but it was fairly priced and decent for a quick snack or drink. Hotels location is fantastic. Just behind the hotel is the Biosphere centre with plenty of shops, restaurants bars etc. Literally a two minute walk takes you to the main strip and beach with all the shops, bars and everything else PDC has to offer. Go the other way and thats a five minute walk to the old town and harbour etc. Plenty of supermarkets very close by to grab any essentials you need including a few late shops to grab some milk, beer snacks etc. Only a couple of negatives: There is no shower room so if your on a late flight, even though you can keep your room till 4 or 6pm there is no facility to freshen up if your not leaving till late. There is a small luggage room next to reception. Because of the hotels location the rooms can be a bit noisy with traffic as the main road travels behind it and onto the Biosphere centre. Its a hotspot for busses and taxis having a horn contest or when the traffic island gets blocked!! Overall it was a good stay and for the price I paid we wasnt dissapointed. We would definatley stay again if the price was right. **Just a note to say thankyou to the staff after my daughter left her keepsake teddybear behind. As soon as I got home I emailed them and they told me they had found it and would hold onto it. Unfortunatley they could not post it but held it untill a friend who was staying nearby a few weeks later could collect it for me.**

We had 2x2 bedroom apartments which were large, airy with big terraces and excellent views of the pool and the sea. The grounds were very well maintained. Towels were removed from sun beds if left for more than 45 minutes which was a good policy as there were not a huge number of sun beds. The reception staff could have been a bit more friendly, however the cleaning staff cleaned the apartment every day except one. We could have done with more towel changes as had to ask for towels to be changed twice. The location was excellent for both the old town and the main beach strip.
