Arrived here in the 1st July with my fiancé and 2 teenagers 19 and 16. The hotel is quite big and all open to let in the wind which is needed 🥵. There are some self serve drinks machine's, water, Coke, Fanta, beer, wine and other stuff I am a wine drinker and didn't like it so tried the cocktail's and had a few glasses of Cava, my fiancé wasn't a fan of the Amstel beer but the cruzcampo lemon beer was lovely. Food was very nice always found something to eat and the Asian restaurant was fantastic don't forget to book a table for the Asian restaurant or you won't get in. Hotel was always being cleaned by the lovely cleaning staff. There are cats walking around they are very chilled they don't bother you. Hotel location is great, great walk from the back gate either turn left or right shops, restaurants, bar in both directions but don't forget to put your suncream on 🥵🌞

Myself Husband and Son have just got back from an amazing 7 day Holiday here in RIU Paraiso Lanzarote. The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean everywhere. As a non smoker I loved the fact that guest have a designated area they can sit and smoke in whilst sunbathing around the pool, so the area is kept clean of all cigarette butts. The hotel always had enough sun-beds and parasols for everyone. If there wasn’t and people who arrived through the day couldn’t find one they went and fetched more. The Hotel is VERY big as it originally was 2 separate hotels now combined into one. The hotel is joined by a LARGE LONG walk way so be prepared on arrival If your in the 2nd section of the hotel - this felt like a mammoth walk. Then later you can see the short cut for everyday walk to the main area. We were in the 2nd part of the hotel with the large pool with the island in the middle, this we found suited us better as the other 2 pools in the main section on the hotel looked crammed! Loved the fact the hotel accommodates for the disabled and has a slope into the pool where I observed a wheelchair user being able to access this in the chair and then the chair was taken out till needed again. Well done to the hotel, pluses lifeguard was happy to assist if needed. Only negative thing, that I would say about the pool is the half section of the pool where ball games are allowed is a pain as balls are flying everywhere. Two older french lads were being really rough playing and hitting the ball into people and their parents were not saying anything!!, at the time the lifeguard (of this day) was to busy talking to his friend to observe this! (Needs to be more aware of what’s going on) lots of people were getting angry with the boys as had enough by then! Apart from that the pool area is amazing! Pool snack and bar was great, nachos with cheese, burgers chicken Prosecco, wine cocktails, larger on tap. On arrival on your stay you get a card that you get the towels for your sun-bed by the pool. Rooms was lovely, fresh towels when needed, large balcony’s with a table and chairs for evening. Could do with the light for the balcony as there isn’t one and your unable to sit out when dark so suggestion to the hotel perhaps to install them. Had a rack to air your towels and dry them. Main restaurant- amazing food caters for all. Loved the fresh prawns, assortment of cheeses and hams can not fault this at all. We dined in the Asian restaurant and the Canary one both were lovely, a little slow in the canary one and we found staff werent as friendly as the Asian one and had to ask for some drinks in the end as waiter was too busy focusing on another table to much, but was lovely atmosphere and more relaxing that main restaurant. Entertainment was Ok to be honest we never really went in there only a couple of times we were quite happy sat playing cars in the bar area or we went out for a walk. Negative - in the daytime the entertainment theme walk around the pool wishing people good morning and saying what is happening however the majority of them were speaking in Spanish or French. Hadn't a clue what they were saying so suggestion please is to speak English and other languages so we all know what’s going on. My Son only worked out into day 3 where sports activities were and was able to join in. They do ALL activities in the main hotels two pools NONE on the section on the pool with the island. Location is great!! Going out through the back gate turn left and walk to the small row of shops and restaurants you can see. To the right approx 10/15 mins walk to the central strip with loads of pubs restaurants and shops. On the complex there are a lot of cats - just incase anyone has phobias on them. They are lovely and don’t pester you (I’m. It a cat person but they did seem very cute). Has a gym, beauty spa and a small shop On the complex. Walkway from 2nd pool entering into the main section could really do with some more floor grips and in flip flops this is VERY slippery and several times I nearly fell over I wasn’t wet think it is just the heat onto the floor. - have attached a photo for you to see which section. There is a nightclub onsite which we never went to although if we come back again will definitely give this ago. On the last day we were able to access a shower and toilet in a room before flying so this enabled us still to make the most of the day around the pool. On the Wednesday it was my Birthday and as a surprise the hotel left a bottle of Prosecco and 2 glasses courtesy of them with a note. This was lovely of them and so very thoughtful- thank you. We will definitely be returning here as had a really great stay and loved our time. 10/10

“Best ever holiday”

First time at rui paraiso lanzarote and won't be the last outstanding holiday from the staff hotel food everything was fantastic Plus it was hot every day will be returning next year

“Family vacation”

Wonderful holidays. Food and drinks very good. Large space, clean, friendly service. The cleaning ladies are at the highest level. The highest rating goes to the Animation team. You are great, both during the day and in the evening.
