Another great stay at the hotel - having stayed previously we knew that we would receive great service with wonderful amenities. The refurbishments already completed have made the hotel even better than our last visit. We have a superior sea view room on the 5th floor (534) with a great sea view but also of the marina and the hotel gardens. The room was kept spotless. We went all inclusive on this visit and could not fault the benefits of this package at all - we certainly never went hungry and the drinks on offer were plentiful. The spa was very relaxing and well worth a visit. The entertainment was varied and you never felt under any pressure to partake in any of the organised daytime activities. With only a short journey (15 mins approx) to the airport we felt after a late flight from the UK we had made a good choice as were at the hotel within an hour of landing! We would definitely recommend this hotel and having been at different times of the year it really is suitable for visiting at anytime! We will be back again!!

“Another fantastic stay”

Having been a guest at Costa Calero many times previously I was reluctant after reading recent reviews .I have to say from start to finish my experience was similar as previous visits . 1.Fast efficient and knowledgeable check-in with a great manner 2.Rooms tastefully decorated and spotless clean. 3.Food and restaurants amazing ,I didn't find dirty tables or any issue ordering drinks . 4.Bars ,no long queues as previously reported. Some of the staff admit to not having great understanding of English language but we always managed and have to say their English was much better than my Spanish. I was celebrating a birthday and received a lovely bottle of presseco and chocolates and room upgrade. I can't wait to book a return visit to this wonderful hotel .

“Good for a quiet break”

The hotel is well situated above “millionaires harbour” puerto Calero.. Our room was 106 , with a sea view, well , more a partial sea view, as there were houses and ships masts in the way. The hotel is well situated above “millionaires harbour” puerto Calero.. Our room was 106 , with a sea view, well , more a partial sea view, as there were houses and ships masts in the way. Nice room with large to , balcony which go the sun all day, ample bathroom , but one problem.we notice the door to the bathroom was sticking and looking at the frame it was mouldy. We repainted this to reception , and was told someone would sort it. , nobody did. That’s the reason for a 4 star not 5 . The food was great , the waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful , again only a slight criticism, too much was cooked and left in ceramic dishes , especially early on. We were there over Christmas and the Hotel was fun and the Christmas evening meal was fantastic, the catering staff did a really good job. The wife wanted to get a Spa treatment, but there was no availability when we enquired, not enough staff?.?. Over all we had a great time and the small hiccups won’t put us off from returning.
