As I looked at the reviews before coming here as some were horrendous I contemplated changing hotels at last minute. We arrived late an night an was greeted pleasantly. Room was close by. Not much of a view but very easy an little step to get to. Room stank instantly an beds very uncomfortable. Never slept right all the hol. Cockroaches dead an alive running about in room an the balcony. Clesners came every 2nd day,No air con which was huge nono for me. Food was nice plenty of choices an Each day was diffrent for lunch and tea. 7pm to 9pm was a bit late for us to be eating. Pool side was good down every morning after breakfast to que for a sun bed. Bar tenders wer great. Had rolls and sandwiches for snacks an had close vending machines. Pool was freezing but fine once in. Hotel situated on top of the hill so struggled when we went out every night to get back up the long steep hill. No entertainment other than. Pool table table tennis an air hockey. Plenty to choose from alcohol an soft drinks on the all inclusive fresh cup every time.spoke well English some of the harsh reviews I feel we had great time nice food nice hotel great views from Pool side great beaches great staff.

Excellent break and a great location. Staff 10/10. Will return again. Resort is a little tired now. Food is what you would expect. Only groan……. I hate memory foam mattresses. I’m sure they put something in them to attract mosquitoes. 😀 Back in November.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel. I must admit that I was slightly worried when I read some of the totally 'damning' reviews, prior to our stay. However, in reality, it was perfectly fine and we had a fabulous holiday. Firstly, I have to agree with the majority, the rooms are outdated, but perfectly functional and very clean. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and had the odd cockroach visit.... but we didn't see any such thing at the Los Fiscos!! Our room was cleaned on our 2nd day, we were out all day and very surprised to get back to find the bed sheets had been changed, as part of the clean. The place smelt clean on our return. It was cleaned again on the 4th day and, once again, bed sheets changed (more than I do at home 🤦‍♀️) !! We were not fully inclusive, so I can't comment too much about the food. We had breakfast included with our package, but no other meals. The breakfast was totally adequate and plenty of choice. I particularly enjoyed the sausages and the fried eggs. There was always cereal, a choice of fruits and various pastries, if continental breakfast is your thing. You certainly would not starve here!!! The main negative around breakfast is that the coffee machines are not fit for purpose!! There are 2 'hot drink' points at breakfast and I can honestly say that I stopped even trying to get a decent cup of coffee!! The coffee comes out in a very slow dribble, by the time you have filled one cup, you have a queue of at least 5 people behind you !! Heaven forbid that you that you try to fill another cup. This seriously needs sorting!! Moving on to the pool area.... it's beautiful, with a very clean and well cared for feel. The pool is very deep, but as a strong swimmer, I loved that. It's not heated but I never found it a problem, once you get in it's lovely. People have also complained about the 'one cup system' for the all inclusive drinks. I found this to be extremely sensible and innovative, there was never any issue with empty glasses round the pool..... everyone held onto their plastic cups, ready for their next refill 👍!! The location is fine, but a little away from the main 'strip' of Puerto del Carmen. It's very, very steep and not at all suitable for people with mobility issues ..... and I mean that. We managed to walk down to the harbour area most evenings, but always had a taxi back up again (€4 - €5) an expense to be factored into your daily expenditure!! The hotel complex itself is on various different levels, with numerous sets of steps to navigate. I was shocked and confused by how many people with mobility issues were staying there - they obviously hadn't done their research 😳!! Please think again about staying here if you use mobility aids, such as walking sticks or even a wheelchair - it really is not the place for you. We are able bodied (albeit elderly) and we struggled at times. Overall, this is a lovely 'budget' hotel, it's not 5 star, so don't go expecting luxury - you will be disappointed !! We went with our eyes wide open and therefore, were not disappointed. In fact we were pleasantly surprised. Also, all the staff are very friendly, helpful and eager to please, which is worth a lot !! Don't take any notice of the reviews that say it's 'disgusting' 'awful' 'terrible' because it's not !! Remember, if you pay for lemonade, do not expect champagne!! I'd go back next week if I could

Just had 11 nights allinclusive food not a great variety but always something you can get by with no daytime snack bar if you don't want restaurant but do keep a sandwich behind pool bar if you ask for one .Staff are brilliant Rob behind the bar and restaurant team always there to help you if neede… more

Just had 11 nights allinclusive food not a great variety but always something you can get by with no daytime snack bar if you don't want restaurant but do keep a sandwich behind pool bar if you ask for one .Staff are brilliant Rob behind the bar and restaurant team always there to help you if needed we traveled with 2 young children who all the staff where happy to talk and gave lollies to .The rooms are very spaces bit dated but got everything you need and clean you always see someone around cleaning and doing maintenance. I would go back to this hotel but would know a lot more about getting around as if you have a mobility issue don't book here .There are steps and you have to book taxis to go to main area of resort .you can walk down but most get taxi back .The reception staff are always happy to book you a taxi so not a problem with getting one .The pool is very deep and the children's side is deep too so make sure you have floats for little ones .Make sure you have a euro for a plastic cup at pool bar this I find is a fantastic way of stopping all the rubbish around the pool area they always give you a clean cup for each drink so not a problem and your euro back when you finished with it .If you want a good value allinclusive holiday then give this hotel a try
