This is an honest review , after reading all the reviews we were very worried , all I can say is yes rooms are dated but they are clean functional, pool is great area bar is good drinks flow , staff are extremely helpful , especially Jesus can't thank the staff enough , food is not the best but there's always chips and salad , toast for breakfast , we didn't eat at night as found it cheap enough to eat out , yes u need to hire kettle and a fan and put a deposit down but u get that back , also 1 euro for ur cup but that's not limited to how many cups u can get , and u get it back when u return cups , overall we had a great time here and would return

Like most, I read the reviews before arriving, concerned that we’d have one of those holidays. However, upon arrival, the receptionist guy (don’t know his name) was very welcoming and friendly. The Hotel and the room were clean. The fridge in the apartment was a really good size. We went to the Super Dino supermarket close by, and stocked up on snacks, and other things to keep in the fridge with more than enough room for beer. WiFi was ok where we were. Perhaps this may be different depending on where you are? Rooms cleaned every couple of days as stated. No air con, but that was ok, as had no trouble sleeping at night. The only thing (and this is for most hotels in Canaries) is that they supply one pillow per person that’s long and thin. I understand to keep cleaning costs down, but an extra one would have been good. The hotel was furthest away from the main strip, but this wasn’t an issue as it’s all downhill to get to the main areas, and if you don’t want the exercise walking back up, then a taxi is about €4 – 6 back to the hotel, but a few times walking back was welcomed for the exercise. The pool bar serves San Miguel on tap, has selections of cocktails and soft drinks. You can pay €1 deposit for a cup, or alternatively €several for several cups if you get through your drinks a bit quicker. A main con for me was that there were no snacks in between mealtimes. I wouldn't expect burgers, hotdogs and all of that, but something as simple as chips or French fries would work here and probably save on the lunch tab for the hotel. The pool bar has a big canopy over it to keep in the shade which is filled with tables and chairs. The rest of the area outside of the pool bar contain all of the sunbeds. There are areas here around the pool bar area that have enough space to provide either extra sunbeds, or some tables and chairs for the people who don’t want to sunbathe but want to catch the sun. Some of the apartments, don’t get much sun, especially ones in between walkways, but if you want to sit, the only option is to sit in the shade. There was no entertainment, and the “games room” was a ping pong table (free) air hockey table, football table, and x2 pool tables. X1 of the pool tables occasionally had tape put around the coin slot, as the white ball would never come back out when potted. We knew beforehand that we would be going out to the main strip at night most nights, so the lack of entertainment wasn't a problem. They had the pool bar with music on at night. I had breakfast once on the 2nd day after arrival, but I wasn’t too keen on it (the bacon wasn’t like UK bacon, or even bacon in other hotels abroad) it was like fried ham slices and not too much variety so it wasn’t enough to get me up and ready in time, so had this out. But the food for lunch and evening meals was decent. You have a salad bar, breads, pork, vegetables, and normally seafood every day like muscles, cockles, fish along with pastas and chips, during lunch and evening meal. I only saw chicken breast once one night, but there was enough variety. I had read a couple of reviews about toilets not flushing, but I could see the possible issue here. The toilet flusher is a push metallic lever that you must push in with a bit of force and keep down to get the toilet flushing fully, and it’s very powerful, so if you only push this down halfway you will only get half the power. The hotel does have a lot of potential to improve, and looks like there may have been some additional things there in the past (like a snackbar upstairs on the large balcony area?) but it may just not be worth the risk of charging extra to provide a lot of upgrades or new things. If you’re looking to go to Lanzarote, like exercise, and a low-cost option, then it’s worth considering. We had a great holiday, and couldn't really fault the hotel for what we had paid, and most of the cons are generally trivial and easily overlooked.

Basic, budget holiday- Cheap but not very cheerful. We arrived late at night, no food given lucky the bar was still open so payed €1 for a plastic cup you keep hold of throughout the holiday then get it back when you return it. We were placed in the hotel across the road still BluSea, on the ground floor, awake all night due to noises, cars, suitcases, people talking etc. We moved room a couple days after having no sleep, this was no issue and was moved the next morning to main hotel higher up, this room was still dated but comfortable to stay, it was clean enough, cleaners come round every 2 days I think it’s just a sweep and mop not much cleaning. The pool is extremely deep no good for children/non swimmers, the pool bar had a few cocktails/drinks, can’t grumble. Only snack you could get is half a sandwich with ham and cheese. The breakfast was the best meal of the day, lunch and dinner is awful, same stuff just different sauces, stayed for 8 nights and maybe enjoyed 2/3 meals from there. Staff friendly enough bar 1 or 2, I wouldn’t go back but the sun was lovely and only 5 mins taxi to the strip!
