I had a fantastic stay here, like previous reviews, I was apprehensive on how my stay was going to be, as a solo traveller, most important to me is safety and cleanliness, the hotel exceeded my expectations, it’s a pain to pay for the safe, tv remote, and WiFi , rooms are dated, with mix match furniture, needs investment from owners/ investors all of the reception team I encountered where excellent along with housekeeping, room refreshed almost daily, the highlight of my stay was the views of the harbour and ocean, would have no problem staying at this property in the future,

After reading reviews was worried about what we had booked into, all I can say it’s what you make it and we had a fantastic extended family holiday. Yes lots of steps but our elderly parents managed fine even been up in the gods. Rooms very out dated and would benefit from some TLC, the views from the rooms are amazing looking out over the sea, absolutely beautiful to sit and relax with a brew in a morning and drinks in the evening. Pool is very deep but there is a small kids pool where ours played all day long with no issues. We were self catering but had many a brunch at the food bar and the food is excellent and reasonable. The resident ducks and one young seagull arrive when the pool closes at 6 which the kids found amazing taking pictures on their iPads. Lovely situated in old town with plenty of bars and places to eat. Life guard that was on during our week stay was fun and we had a good laugh with him. All I can say is no it’s not the Hilton but if it was you would be paying a way lot more. My advise if you have booked this is go and enjoy yourself a holiday is what you make it. I would book again for the location and views.

Let me put this in plain English, you get what you pay for, and we felt it was great value for money. The good: - Staff were excellent, efficient and very friendly. - The food was decent. Let me put this in plain English, you get what you pay for, and we felt it was great value for money. The good: - Staff were excellent, efficient and very friendly. - The food was decent. A bit samey, but again, it's not 5 star, nor is it advertised as such. The drinks variety on all inclusive was also extensive and the measures good. - The location is ideal for access to the old town and nearby shopping centre. - The rooms were dated, but clean. The bad: - The steps aren't ideal for those less mobile. - The pool and pool area needs attention, but it isn't unusable, nor dirty. - The rooms are very dated and some of the electric sockets needed attention. The ugly: - Some of the reviews on here make you believe it's awful, IT ISN'T, again, you get what you pay for. If you're sat crying in your room in Lanzarote then you need to give your head a wobble, the place is beautiful. All hotels on trip advisor seem to report thefts ...USE A SAFE, they're cheap. Overall, yes it's dated, yes there's steps, but the island is one big volcano so what do you expect? We would return here, and if you don't expect the earth then you will be pleasantly surprised.
