Once again the Tisalaya has outdone itself; lovely staff; a nice quiet complex. A couple of special mentions; first to Juan on reception; catered for our every need and a big thank you for getting a box of chocolates for my 60th birthday. To all the cleaners; you work so hard and always have a smile on your face; Rosie will be a miss; good luck in your new venture. To all the moaners about the complex; if you want Ritz style service pay Ritz prices. Already booked for next year; can't wait

“Most enjoyable.”
I found the staff great and really friendly. My apartment was on the ground floor with two sun loungers on my patio. No trouble getting a lounger round the pool if you want to spend time there. A little dated, but I was not expecting the Ritz. Not a creepy crawly in sight. Little bit of a bank to climb from the promenade, I'm 77 but managed ok. Great holiday.

We stayed at the apartments for 2 weeks and had an amazing stay. Yes the apartments are a little dated but they were spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfortable so no complaints. All the staff were amazing, in particularly Paula, she was so helpful, from recommendations about places to eat and drink to helping us hire a car, also telling us about the nearest bus stop. No Aircon but we knew this before we booked however thought in view November it wouldn't be needed, our 1st week saw very high temperatures for the time of year however we were still able to sleep, not so sure it would be bearable in the height of summer. I would not hesitate to stay at these apartments again, I was so sad to leave.

Tisalaya apartments ticked all the boxes for us. Though dated and showing a few signs of wear and tear in places they were spotlessly clean and had all the equipment required for a self catering holiday. The fridge was a good size and very efficient. There was a constant supply of very hot water. Unlike some of the modern complexes we have been to there was plenty of storage space and hanging space in the wardrobes. The balcony was large and got the sun all day. The pool area was a spacious with plenty of sun beds though only a few parasols. I imagine more would be needed in the summer months. There is no loud music blaring which we like. The pool was unheated and very cold but that did not seem to deter some of the more serious swimmers. There is a very small children’s pool. Other than that there are no facilities for little ones. The reception sells 5 litre bottles of water for 2 euros. You can also hire a fan though in November, despite the great weather, you didn’t need one as it cooled down at night. The nearest supermarket is just two minutes away but it’s expensive and not well stocked. We went to Lidl for our big shop. It‘s a fifteen minute walk. After that we picked up supplies from one of two Hiperdinos which were on our way back from the various restaurants we used. Handy that they stay open until 22.00! As others have said the apartments are up a hill so probably wouldn’t recommend to anyone with walking difficulties. We are both seventy however and had no problem with the walk to the beach and back. At this time of year the clientele is largely seniors of various nationalities. All were pleasant and friendly. The only exception were a small number of Irish couples who shouted rather than talked and punctuated every sentence with the “f” word. We sometimes wondered what the other nations made of their use of the English language!
