Just got back from a long girlie weekend for a hen party. Was a group of 8 or so had 3 one bed apartments which had been allocated next to one another. Plenty of space in the room, amenities and nice balconies. Both pools nice. Snack bar in the day to help yourself to a range of things and restaurant for all your other meals. Standard all inclusive options but all nicely prepared. Drinks at the bar from local beers spirits and cocktails. Location is great, little 5-10 minute walk into Matagorda where there’s a nice beach with bars and restaurants or a taxi into PDC around €6 so ideal for us when we wanted a late night party. Only downside for us was lack of entertainment with the animation team around the pool. Mini disco and one act on in the evening but all finishes around 11pm. Overall a nice stay

“Mixed review”

Beautiful setting, rooms ideal, entertainment staff excellent but staff in both restaurant and bars were rude, clearly didn’t want to be there which is ironic given of there was no tourism in the area there is nothing. “Nice few nights away”

Stayed here for 4 nights, for a three star you get what you expect. The room was very clean however very dated and In need of a refurbishment, needs a fresh lick of paint and will be perfect. Stayed here for 4 nights, for a three star you get what you expect. The room was very clean however very dated and In need of a refurbishment, needs a fresh lick of paint and will be perfect. The bathroom was very modern and the small kitchen looked well equipped although we never used it, balcony was very large. The pool area was the best part of the hotel, plenty loungers and umbrellas. We were all inclusive, and the cocktails were tasty but very strong we ended up saying we want less alcohol which was perfect. The food was where the downfall is, the breakfast was fine, full English, fresh pastries, fruit etc, for lunch we tended to stick with the pool bar where you could make your own toasties which was great. Evening meal however was not the best, I am vegetarian and stick to a simple diet so the pasta, fries, grilled vegetables and rice were fine for me however my friend who is a meat eater did not enjoy the food, she claimed everything tasted the same and bland. Most staff at the reception desk were very helpful and the entertainment staff were amazing, the night shows were typical hotel shows, mini disco etc. But the entertainment staff were so much fun had everyone involved and up dancing, we had one outside entertainment come in which were 2 singers who just sung Bruno mars, so of that’s your thing you will enjoy that!! The location of the hotel was great, about a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurantss.
