This was a lovely little apartment complex and situated in a good, central area. The rooms were spotless and very modern with all mod cons. The pool area was also spotless and the pool, maintenance and cleaning staff, never stopped. The cafe at the pool was also great value for money and served up lovely food. Great area for the beach, bars and the big shopping mall. Minor irks for some, but major for me - no aircon in the rooms (I think it was unusually hot in November but although there was a fan, aircon would've been a Godsend). - Noisy! We were in a room facing the road and the noise was unreal. It was a constant day and night. Revellers coming home, lorries unpacking in the street, general traffic 24/7 - the towel brigade. The pool doesn't open til 10am but oddly enough, beds would have towels on them before then! Only one side of the pool gets sun most of the day so these beds would be taken first but people would be away all day and leave their towels so others can't use them. It does my head in and I think the hotel needs to address this!

“Holiday”

Great apartments very convenient to shops strip and beach and lovely staff. One complaint they do not enforce no reserving sunbeds rule very frustrating as on more than one occasion at pool very early and every single bed reserved and only a handful of people using it . Very frustrating

Our first time actually staying in Puerto del Carmen having stayed a few days in Costa Teguise for the marathon. The apartments were a fair distance up a hill which could be a problem for people with limited mobility, one of the hills up was a lot less steep than the other. There was a very handy Spar at the top of the hill approx 200 yards from the appartments so you didn’t need to tackle it for day to day supplies.Travelling back down took you onto the main promenade with a huge choice of restaurants and bars plus easy access to the beach. The appartment itself was fine if a bit tired.The kitchen had a hob and microwave plus basic cooking utensils kettle etc.The television did have ITV and BBC1 Ireland but was not consistent frequently losing reception, so we usually resorted to watching our downloads on the iPad.There was a games room and pool bar on the site which had very friendly staff and was excellent value,the pool was cold but we did visit in December so not that inviting.the site also offered a commercial washing machine 4 euros and tumble dryer which we used and found excellent.Like most of the appartments this had its own hot water supply which was fine for one shower but ran cold if we both tried to shower within a short time of each other.The appartments were advertised as having a towel change every 2 days after 6 days this hadn’t happened but a quick call to reception and this was done. The balcony was nice having a view to the sea and therefore received a fair bit of sunshine.There is little or no sound insulation in the appartments so you can hear neighbours quite loudly which can be uncomfortable. Overall we would stay here again if it was the most budget friendly option we could find but we wouldn’t put it high on our list of destination.

The bar closes at 6pm so if you fancied chilling at the bar and kids using the pool / table tennis table -forgett it. There are loads of bars nearby but all get v buisy. The bar closes at 6pm so if you fancied chilling at the bar and kids using the pool / table tennis table -forgett it. There are loads of bars nearby but all get v buisy. Lots of sports bars and large restaurants on the sea front. Lovely small restaurant amongst the appartments near to the tenis / paddle bord courts. We went 3 times, great host. Lovely rooms, good size rooms and balcony. Bedroom has a excellant fan. We took a compact fan for my daughter in the front room. Rooms were hot but not unbareable. July - pool rammed, but we went to the beach each day. Plenty of beds (about 5 Euros each). Plenty if shops near by for snacks. Beach is shallow safe for familys and good for snorkling. The pool bar is excellant value, doing great toasted sarnies, frut smoothiess and beer in frozen glasses. Shame they close at 6pm as its a really nice family space.
